According to the report issued by the assessing company, the audit results demonstrated that the Department fully complied with the requirements of the administrative system consistent with the aforementioned specification. This reflects its commitment to international quality standards and its obligation to continuous improvement in the levels and mechanisms of service delivery to all customers, in accordance with the highest international standards.
Commitment to comprehensive quality policy
Also, SEDD works to implement a comprehensive quality policy by setting and continuously reviewing system objectives, ensuring the distribution of its concepts, highlighting best administrative and professional practices, and developing and improving the services it provides in support of its strategic orientations.
Statement from Strategic Planning and Performance Department
Commenting on this, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Ali, Deputy Director of Strategic Planning and Performance Department, said that the Department is working to develop the emirate's economy through planning and providing distinguished services using qualified human cadres and advanced technical systems, in accordance with the highest quality standards. He pointed out that passing the periodic review of the ISO 9001:2015 certification came after an intensive evaluation, which aligns with the Department's objectives of working to achieve sustainable economic development and quality in practices.
Focus on service development and institutional excellence
He added that the Strategic Planning and Performance Department works to the highest standards to achieve SEDD's vision, one of whose key objectives is to develop services provided to customers and strategic partners, and to adopt best practices in procedures, quality systems, and institutional excellence, all with the aim of implementing the approved directives to provide an effective and exceptional environment that keeps pace with global procedures and standards.

He also explained that SEDD's continued successive attainment of this important international certification is the result of fulfilling its commitments within its policies to enhance work procedures and consolidate its position as an entity that keeps pace with modern business requirements. Moreover, Al Ali pointed out that this attainment confirms the strength of the Department's organisational structure, ensuring efficient and effective workflow and achieving its strategic objectives, which call for adopting best practices in procedures and quality systems to improve performance and achieve a diversified and organised economy.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan also approved 400 new government jobs, Chairman of the Sharjah Human Resources Department Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, said. Interviews are expected to begin after Eid al-Adha and are open to those who have already completed their training.
