1 month later, family hopes specialized search team will help them find teacher in Lake Oconee
Saturday marks one month since Gary Jones and his fiancée Joycelyn Wilson vanished while boating on Lake Oconee. Wilson's body was recovered the next day, but crews are still looking for Jones' body.
Channel 2′s Bryan Mims was at Lake Oconee on Saturday morning as a Wisconsin-based expert and his specialized search team joined the search to help the family get results and some closure.
Keith Cormican runs a nonprofit called Bruce's Legacy, which is funded by donations and named for his late brother.

Richard Pickering, who is coordinating the volunteer search, said Cormican is one of the best underwater search experts in the country.
'In difficult cases like this, we reach out to nationally-acclaimed SONAR operators,' Pickering explained.
He says Cormican has $300,000 of equipment on his boat, including a torpedo-shaped SONAR unit that hovers over the bottom of the lake, as well as a remote-operated vehicle with a light and a camera.
'It's an $85,000 piece of equipment and it allows them to go down into the water with a cable and to skim along the bottom of the lake in looking, in trying to locate the body,' Pickering said.

Searchers have narrowed the area to roughly the size of two football fields, but the water is dark, deep and thick with dead trees.
'That's what we dove last weekend,' volunteer diver Buck Buchanan said. 'We dove in all trees and all timber. We literally went into entanglements knowing they're entanglements.'
Buchanan says he and several other divers are ready to go in if Cormican finds a lead.
'By bringing him in, it takes it to a whole other level of expertise. So we have high expectations and high hopes,' Pickering said.
Cormican plans to stay for several days as the search continues each day.

Woman and family members kill her husband in self-defense at Buckhead apartment complex, police say
Atlanta police are investigating a fight between a husband and wife that turned deadly in Buckhead. At about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the Cortland Peachtree Battle apartment complex at 2420 Peachtree Road in Atlanta to reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a man dead in a hallway. Atlanta Police Homicide Commander Andrew Smith said a man in his mid-30s entered the apartment building, approached the apartment of his wife, also in her mid-30s, and fired two shots. Smith said the man and woman were in the process of getting a divorce. Police aren't sure at this time how he was able to enter the building and have not revealed how the woman and her family members killed the man. Investigators are collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. It is unclear if charges will be filed. Police urge anyone with information about this shooting to call Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can remain anonymous. Mother of protester says trial wait 'outrageous'
The mother of a man charged in relation to an alleged break-in at the UK site of an Israel-based defence firm has said it is "outrageous" that he faces 21 months in prison before his case goes to trial. William Plastow, 34, is one of the 'Filton 18' accused of taking part in a Palestine Action protest at an Elbit Systems UK factory in Filton, Bristol last August. Mr Plastow is still awaiting his trial which is scheduled for April next year. His mum, Jane Plastow, believes it is the longest anyone has been held in prison pre-trial on protest-related charges. The Judicial Office told the BBC it could not comment on individual cases. An earlier court hearing was told that during the incident a vehicle was driven into the doors of buildings and two responding police officers and a security guard were injured. Along with many of the rest of the group, Mr Plastow, from Manchester, is charged with criminal damage, violent disorder and aggravated burglary which he denies. The Home Office has previously told the BBC: "The CPS has decided that there is sufficient evidence to submit to the court that these offences have a terrorism connection." However, none of the 18 have been charged with terror offences. Elbit Systems UK is run separately to Israel-based Elbit Systems. It previously told the BBC that claims the facilities supply the Israeli military are "completely false". An Elbit Systems UK spokesperson told the BBC it will not comment on an ongoing legal process. "I think [for Mr Plastow] there's a great sense of helplessness and hopelessness," Ms Plastow said. "There have been lots of people locked up as political prisoners in Britain recently, there is Palestine Action and Just Stop Oil - but nobody has been locked up longer than my son and some of his comrades." Ms Plastow said her son applied for bail, promising the judge that he would stay with his mother and wear an electronic tag. "We had discussed the most onerous terms, it basically amounted to house arrest," Ms Plastow said. She said she offered to pay £50,000, from a recent inheritance, but he was denied bail. "My son has never been violent. It is a gross overreach," Ms Plastow added. "The idea that at the moment it looks like he will be locked up for 21 months is outrageous."
