In the major roster shakeup,
Goblin
(Harsh Paudwal), the star BGMI player, has officially returned to team iQOOSou or
Team Soul
. Departing from
Likitha Esports
on April 29, he didn't take much time to reunite with his previous squad.
The reunion, announced on May 1, 2025, happened just weeks before Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) 2025. It marks the return of Goblin after his year-long stint with the other squads. Here is all you need to know about his return.

The return of Goblin to Team Soul is not just nostalgia but seems a tactical play. As per the sources, Goblin denied many other teams, like
Saumraj
and RNTX, who approached him as a replacement for their players. He was appreciated for being true to the team, For it, he was even called a
'true SouL blood,'
by a fan.
The team confirmed his return with a post made on X, declaring,
"Once a SouLdier, always a SouLdier."
The 2022 BMPS MVP previously led the team to victory, cementing his reputation and earning honors. Now, he will team up with the retained players— Manya, Rony, and Nakul. The reshuffle follows the lackluster 15th-place finish of Soul at BGIS 2025. It signals a push of the team to a strategic depth and firepower.
The timing of Goblin's return to Team Soul is critical. BMPS 2025 will begin on May 22, 2025. The management of the team is banking on the synergy of Goblin under the leadership of Manya. His familiarity with the team's playbook can streamline the late-game decisions and the rotations. Fans are already buzzing about the potential of the duo to replicate the magic of 2022, especially with Skyesports Champions 2024 serving as a warm-up between May 6 and May 18, 2025.
What does it mean for Team Soul?
The revamped roster of Team Soul faces some immediate tests, such as Skyesports Champions 2024 and BMPS 2025. The experience of Goblin in high-pressure tournaments, along with the clutch potential, makes him a game-changer for the team. All seem optimistic about the return; after all, the last time Goblin wore Soul's jersey, they lifted the BMPS trophy. So, if history repeats, the reunion can mark the beginning of another championship era.
With ₹2 crore prize pool of BMPS 2025, Team Soul is aiming to reclaim its dominance in BMPS. But only time can tell whether or not the reunion will reignite the championship spark. However, the one thing that remains certain is that with
BGMI Goblin return
, the upcoming games have got a lot more thrilling now.

IPL 2025 final: RCB and Kohli's 18-year wait meets Punjab's fire as league awaits a new champion
Eighteen seasons. No title. For Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bengaluru , the wait has been long, emotional, and often cruel. On Tuesday night, they get another shot at redemption, this time against a determined Punjab Kings side led by Shreyas Iyer , in what will be a historic IPL final where a first-time champion is guaranteed. The grand finale at the Narendra Modi Stadium won't just be about who lifts the trophy, it could also be Kohli's final outing for a while. Having stepped away from Test cricket and with India's next white-ball assignment months away, fans are expected to flood the stands in their No.18 jerseys, hoping to see their hero finish the season with silverware. RCB have reached the final thrice before, in 2009, 2011 and 2016, only to fall short. But this season, they've looked like a team with purpose. From a dominant league stage to a ruthless eight-wicket win over Punjab in Qualifier 1, they've finally found the balance that eluded them for years. Phil Salt's explosive starts, Rajat Patidar's consistency, and the contributions of Mayank Agarwal and Jitesh Sharma have given RCB the depth they previously lacked. Whether Tim David returns to bolster the finishing alongside Romario Shepherd remains to be seen. Live Events Josh Hazlewood has anchored the bowling attack with typical calm, picking up 21 wickets and emerging as the tournament's fourth-highest wicket-taker. He'll be key again on a surface that's offered some assistance to the pacers under lights. Punjab Kings, meanwhile, have staged one of the most remarkable turnarounds in IPL history. Perennial underachievers, they've come alive this season under Iyer and coach Ricky Ponting, finishing second in the league and booking a place in their first final in 11 years. After being thrashed by RCB in the first qualifier, they responded in style, knocking out five-time champions Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 with a clinical performance. Iyer, who has now taken Delhi, Kolkata, and Punjab to IPL finals, has amassed 603 runs and proved once again why he's one of the most effective leaders in T20 cricket. Yuzvendra Chahal, not fully fit, will be under the scanner as he takes on his former side. But Punjab will bank on collective grit over individual brilliance. With no rain in the forecast and a reserve day and extra time in place, the stage is set for a full contest. One team will finally shed the 'never-won-it' tag. For Kohli and Iyer , it's not just about history, it's personal. Pankaj Tripathi opens up about taking a break after father's demise: 'I took time off to work on myself and heal'
Pankaj Tripathi , known for his powerful performances and calm on-screen presence, recently shared that he took a full year off from acting. The actor, who was recently seen in 'Criminal Justice 4' revealed that he didn't sign a single film during that time. After losing his father in 2023, he decided to quietly take a step back and focus on himself, both mentally and physically. 'I did not sign a film for one year' The 'Mirzapur' actor opened up in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India about the emotional reason behind his break from the screen. He said, 'After my father's demise, I went on an introspective journey. I did not sign a film for a year, and I didn't announce that I was taking a break.' He added, 'I took time off to work on myself and heal, physically and mentally. That's why I've lost weight. I work out for three hours a day, six days a week. I also travelled, trips that I'd been putting off for a long time.' Although the 'Mimi' actor stayed away from film sets, he did wrap up a few minor work commitments like ad shoots and some patchwork for the upcoming film 'Metro…In Dino'. But apart from that, he stayed out of the media spotlight and didn't take on any new film scripts. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo 'I kept telling people I don't have time' Tripathi revealed that he didn't officially announce his break because he wanted to quietly focus on himself. He said he kept telling people he was too busy, but in truth, that time was reserved for much-needed reflection and healing. He shared, 'I'm at a point where I'm no longer working for the money. I need to do work that gives me something to look forward to.' The actor admitted there was a time when he wasn't feeling the same passion for his work. 'There was a time when I was counting days on projects just waiting for them to end. And I thought- this can't be right. I love this profession so much. I've made so many sacrifices to get here, and if I'm spending my days just waiting for shoots to wrap, then something's wrong. That's why I took a break,' he explained. Coping with his father's passing Tripathi's father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari, passed away in August 2023 at the age of 99. It was a huge personal loss for the actor. Though he didn't talk about it much in public at the time, this moment marked the beginning of a quiet but important chapter in his life. While he didn't take to social media or give emotional interviews at the time, he did dedicate his National Award win to his late father. He also made a heartfelt gesture by opening a library in his village high school in memory of him. A strong comeback with 'Metro… In Dino' After spending some time away from the film world, Pankaj Tripathi is now preparing to return to the big screen with 'Metro… In Dino'. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 hit 'Life… In A Metro', directed by Anurag Basu. The movie features a star-studded cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan , Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma , Anupam Kher , Neena Gupta, Saswat Chatterjee and of course, Pankaj Tripathi himself. ‘Detective Ujjwalan' box office collections day 10: Dhyan Sreenivasan's murder mystery crosses Rs 5.56 cr worldwide
(Picture Courtesy:Facebook) Dhyan Sreenivasan is finally celebrating a box office success this year with the murder mystery 'Detective Ujjwalan'. As per the Sacnilk reports, the film has collected Rs 5.56 crore worldwide in ten days, with Rs 4.96 crore from India net collections. Dhyan Sreenivasan scores his first hit of 2025 While the movie opened modestly, it has shown a steady run across weekdays and weekends, steadily building its audience and word-of-mouth. The film's growing collections signal that audiences are enjoying this crime comedy blend, marking a positive turning point for Dhyan's 2025 releases. A lighthearted detective faces a darker challenge 'Detective Ujjwalan' revolves around Ujjwalan, a quirky librarian who moonlights as the village detective, helping solve small-time problems like lost gold or missing goats. Plachikavu village is so peaceful that even the police lean on Ujjwalan's skills to handle petty crime. But the tone shifts when a series of brutal murders shock the quiet village, leaving everyone to wonder whether their local amateur sleuth can rise to the challenge of catching a dangerous criminal. As tension builds, Ujjwalan must stretch beyond his usual comic charm to crack a case that threatens the entire village's safety. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2025 Top Trending local enterprise accounting software [Click Here] Esseps Learn More Undo Detective Ujjwalan - Official Trailer ETimes verdict ETimes gave the movie a rating of 2.5 stars out of 5 and our review read, 'There are some rules that a detective story needs to make it work and for the effect to stay with us. Some red herrings that will confuse the audience so that we are emotionally and intellectually caught up in the story, a detective who uses logic that will baffle us with its brilliance and a final revelation of the culprit that will shock us. Detective Ujjwalan does not use any of these devices in a forceful enough manner. The period settings are interesting and the village characters are loveable enough, though some of the superb comic talents from social media, Ameen, Nihal Nizam, Nibraz and Shahubas, are barely utilised. The film seems to go in the direction of most Dhyan films; a bit of an anti-climax.' What's next? With Rs 57 lakhs collected on its tenth day, 'Detective Ujjwalan' continues to draw crowds despite facing competition from new releases. Given the current momentum, the movie is likely to continue adding to its box office tally in the coming weeks.
