The BCCI released pictures of the players and members of support staff paying homage to the victims of the accident. The players and staff also donned black armbands in solidarity with the families of the victims. India head coach Guatam Gambhir played no part in the intra-Squad Test in preparation for the five-match Test series against England after the 43-year-old's mother suffered a heart attack on June 11. Gambhir left the squad on June 12, to be with his mother in this difficult time.
