Ex-Colorado Buffaloes WR trying out for Broncos at minicamp The Denver Broncos brought in a local wide receiver for a tryout this week. Former Colorado Buffaloes receiver Will Sheppard attended mandatory minicamp on a tryout basis on Tuesday, according to a report from the Denver Post's Luca Evans. Evans previously spotted Broncos coach Sean Payton chatting up Sheppard at CU's pro day earlier this year. Sheppard posted 40-yard dash times of 4.56 and 4.54 seconds, a 40.5-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, 11-inch broad jump at the pro day. He was not picked during the NFL draft in April but is now getting a chance to impress at Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit. Sheppard (6-2, 198 pounds) spent four years at Vanderbilt before transferring to Colorado last fall. He totaled 48 receptions for 621 yards and six touchdowns in 2024, ending his five-year college career with 200 catches for 2,688 yards and 27 touchdowns in 55 games. Steelers' Super Bowl odds haven't moved after Aaron Rodgers signing

Oddsmakers apparently priced in Aaron Rodgers long-rumored Steelers signing. After months of flirtation between the two sides, Pittsburgh's Super Bowl odds stayed the same despite bringing in the future Hall of Fame quarterback over the weekend. Before officially signing Rodgers, the Steelers were +4500 to win the Lombardi Trophy at BetMGM Sportsbook, the 17th-best odds in the league. That number didn't budge after finally landing their starting signal-caller, suggesting Vegas bookies assumed all along the ex-Jets QB was heading to Pittsburgh. The Steelers are once again being priced as a middle-of-the-pack team heading into the season. BetMGM has their win total at 8.5 with the juice on the under, implying that Pittsburgh could be headed for their first losing season in the Mike Tomlin era. They are +145 to make the playoffs and a +600 long shot to win the AFC North. Getty Images The Steelers are hoping Rodgers can get them over the hump of a near-decade of playoff incompetence. The franchise has lost six straight postseason games, including a wild-card round loss in four of the last five seasons. Rodgers heads to Pittsburgh after a disappointing 2024 season for the 5-12 Jets, during which he threw for 3,897 yards with 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Betting on the NFL? He replaces Russell Wilson, who is expected to take the starting job with the Giants. Rodgers will throw to a revamped receiving corps after the Steelers traded for star pass-catcher D.K. Metcalf and dealt away George Pickens to the Cowboys.

Iran Superstar Plays Down Exit Speculation: 'I Have A Contract With Inter'

Iran Superstar Plays Down Exit Speculation: 'I Have A Contract With Inter' Iran international Mehdi Taremi addressed his future at Inter Milan after today's 3-0 win over North Korea. Speaking to the press after the game via FCInter1908, Taremi confirmed he has no intention of leaving San Siro. Advertisement Mehdi Taremi signed a multi-year contract last summer after leaving Porto as a free agent. Indeed, despite receiving offers from across the continent, he chose the Nerazzurri colors. However, his first season in Serie A didn't go as expected. Forced to play second fiddle to Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, he only made seven league starts. Moreover, the 32-year-old scored an unenviable three goals across 43 appearances in all competitions. For further context, his only goal in Serie A came from the penalty spot. Therefore, rumors surrounding his future have quickly gained momentum at the end of the season. Advertisement Yet, Taremi has no doubt and wants to stay Inter. (Photo by) Despite his club struggles, Taremi continues to be Iran's standout performer. His national team secured the 2026 World Cup qualification as Group A winners. Furthermore, he registered a goal and an assist as Iran trounced North Korea 3-0 in their final qualifying fixture. After the game, he spoke to the press, offering an update on his future at Giuseppe Meazza. 'I have a contract with Inter, and if they allow me, I will stay with this team,' he admitted. Though it wasn't a memorable season for Taremi and Inter, overall, there's still a place for him in this team. Advertisement Indeed, Joaquin Correa already left the club to join Brazilian outfit Botafogo on a two-year deal. Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic will soon sever ties with the Nerazzurri as the club refused to offer him fresh terms. However, Inter may sign two new strikers in the summer, with Ange-Yoan Bonny and Rasmus Hojlund topping their wishlist.
