Aussie mum reveals that she will keep working after winning $4.8million Lotto prize
A hardworking South Australian mum has come forward to claim a $4.8million Lotto prize.
The woman from Gawler held the only division one winning entry in Set for Life draw 3555, drawn on Wednesday night.
She broke down in tears when an official from The Lott revealed the news of her win.
'I've just won $4.8 million. Are you f***ing serious, thank you,' she said.
'I work in hospitality, and I love my job, so I don't think I'll be retiring anytime soon, but I do have a holiday booked that I can upgrade,' she said.
'We haven't gone on a holiday in almost ten years, so this win on top of that is just magical. We'll be able to enjoy ourselves even more.
'We're just holidaying in Australia, but I guess now we'll have a lot more options to play with for next time.
'This is going to help us and our children so much. Thank you so much for the good news. I can't stop the tears.'
The winning numbers in Set for Life draw 3555 on Wednesday 30 April 2025 were 41, 35, 29, 26, 27, 18 and 32, while the supplementary numbers were 10 and 6.
As part of her Set For Life win, $20,000 a month will be deposited into her bank account for the next two decades.

Lottery draw numbers in full as single ticket holder scoops £4million
A lucky lottery player could wake up millions of pounds richer after a single ticket holder scooped up an incredible £4million jackpot - the National Lottery has revealed the winning numbers A single ticket holder has scooped up the huge £4 million jackpot in Saturday's Lotto draw. The winning National Lottery Lotto numbers were 11, 17, 27, 30, 39 and 46 while the bonus number was 56. Players have been urged to check their tickets and call in to claim the top prize, with the jackpot winner matching all six main numbers to take the life changing £4,003,513 sum. Set of balls 10 and draw machine Lancelot were used in the draw. Players who missed out will still be in luck as Wednesday's jackpot will be an estimated huge £2 million. Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at The National Lottery operator Allwyn, said: "Amazing news for our lucky Lotto players, as one ticket-holder has won tonight's £4 million jackpot. "Luck is clearly in the air, as this is the second Lotto jackpot win in a week, after a single ticket-holder bagged last Saturday's (May 31) £3.9 million jackpot." No players matched all five numbers in Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw. Twelve players won £13,000 each after they managed to match four numbers. The winning Thunderball numbers were 01, 05, 13, 17 and 39 while the Thunderball was 08. No-one matched all five numbers plus the Thunderball to scoop the £500,000 top prize, but one ticket holder matched all five regular numbers to win £5,000. This comes as the biggest lottery prize the UK has ever seen is still up for grabs after Friday's EuroMillions draw had no winners. The jackpot on Tuesday will be an estimated £208 million and would be the largest prize the UK has seen, National Lottery operator Allwyn said. Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, said: 'Tuesday sees the £208 million EuroMillions jackpot still up for grabs. 'A win of this magnitude would create the biggest National Lottery winner this country has ever seen – making a single UK winner instantly richer than the likes of Dua Lipa and Harry Kane while also landing them at the number one spot on the National Lottery's biggest wins list. 'The EuroMillions jackpot is now capped, so any money that would have gone into increasing the jackpot now boosts prizes in the next winning prize tier, meaning that we could see multiple UK players banking huge prizes for matching just the five main numbers and one Lucky Star.' The main EuroMillions winning numbers were 20, 21, 29, 30, 35 and the Lucky Stars were 02, 12. One UK ticket-holder became a millionaire after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, winning £2.02 million. No players won the £500,000 Thunderball jackpot by matching the five Thunderball numbers, 03, 14, 31, 32, 34, and the Thunderball number 06.
