Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2025: Record number of registrations
The festival, which runs from May 26 to May 31, has seen a record-breaking 119,593 registrations.
This includes a 42 per cent rise in the number of young Welsh learners compared to last year.
A free shuttle bus service will run between Port Talbot Parkway train station and the Eisteddfod Maes throughout the week.
Lower-income families will also be able to access the Maes for free, thanks to a £200,000 Welsh Government support package.

Llio Maddocks, director of the arts at Urdd Gobaith Cymru, said: "Eisteddfod yr Urdd is for all.
"Seeing more young people and more Welsh learners than ever choosing to take part this year proves that the Eisteddfod is meeting the needs and the interests of the young people of Wales."
For those unable to attend, S4C and BBC Radio Cymru will provide live broadcasts of the competitions.
The main daily ceremonies will take place in the white pavilion at 2pm.

Hundreds gather to watch the Red Arrows fly over Wales
The Red Arrows could be seen flying through Welsh skies on Wednesday morning - and hundreds of fans gathered at Cardiff Airport to watch the team land. The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team were stationed at The Flying Club Rhoose from 10am. They are set to take off again at 4pm on Thursday, June 5 to head to Douglas Bay in the Isle of Man. The flying club opened their doors to visitors eagerly awaiting the aircrafts. Visitors sat in the rain to watch the planes soar through the cloudy sky and land at the airport for a unique experience of seeing them on the ground.
