Fans spot member of Blake Lively's inner-circle on dinner date with Taylor Swift and Dakota Johnson
Taylor Swift enjoyed a night out with her new A-list buddy Dakota Johnson in NYC on Thursday - and fans were quick to notice that a member of Blake Lively 's inner circle was also spotted with them.
The Grammy winner, 35, has mainly been keeping out of the spotlight in recent months and was notably dragged into Lively's legal battle with Justin Baldoni when the singer was subpoenaed.
It has since been withdrawn, but Swift was still been embroiled in an alleged fallout with the Gossip Girl alum - and explosive claims also emerged that Blake threatened to release texts from the singer.
Despite Taylor reportedly being 'done' with the actress, fans were shocked to see that Lively's bodyguard was seen assisting Johnson during the dinner date with Swift in the Big Apple.
The Bad Blood songstress was accompanied by her own bodyguard as the stars grabbed a bite to eat at the Italian restaurant Via Carota.
DailyMail.com has reached to Swift, Johnson and Lively's reps for comment.
The bodyguard was spotted with Lively as she recently promoted her latest movie Another Simple Favor.
Earlier this month, she was seen stepping out in NYC in a white dress and was guided towards the entrance of a building by her bodyguard who strolled directly behind her.
He was also spotted with Blake on the set of It Ends With Us which filmed in 2023 and also throughout early 2024.
Justin Baldoni both directed and also starred in the movie - which is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover's book of the same name.
Johnson has also been cast in the upcoming project Verity, which is based on a 2018 novel written by Hoover.
The film from Amazon MGM studios is currently in its post-production stages and additionally stars Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett.
While enjoying a bite to eat at the hotspot, Taylor was joined by her brother Austin and Dakota also brought along her sibling Jesse.
The performer was effortlessly chic wearing a black dress with colorful floral details on the fabric and also slipped into a pair of black strappy heels.
Johnson put on a stylish display donning a strapless black dress as well as a dazzling necklace and black pumps.
Before joining Taylor, the Fifty Shades Of Grey actress had celebrated becoming a global ambassador for Roberto Coin at a glitzy event.
Dakota has previously gushed about the songstress and during an interview with Bustle last year, she expressed that she was a big fan of Swift's Lover album.
'It's such a great album, but I think all of her albums are really great. I just find her existence really radical in the sense of what it literally means. Not rad or cool, but radical, and I'm totally into it.
'She's a fabulous songwriter. She works so hard. She is really kind to the people that love her. I'm just like, do you, girl. I support.'
Back in 2016, Johnson was also seen hanging out with Taylor as well as Zoe Kravitz during an outing in NYC at the time.
Taylor's dinner outing on Thursday comes not long after a source exclusively told DailyMail.com that the singer 'is done' with Lively due to feeling like she had been 'exploited.'
It was also unveiled that Blake had allegedly threated to leak private text messages from Taylor unless she sided with the actress amid her legal battle with Baldoni.
Earlier this month, the singer was officially subpoenaed in Lively's lawsuit when she was sent a legal notice by Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman as a witness.
Swift's team slammed the subpoena as they argued that she was not very involved in the drama on set of 2024 film It Ends With Us.
A rep for Taylor gave a blistering response to DailyMail.com which read: 'Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film...
'She never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.'
The rep noted that the only involvement Taylor had in the film was the use of one of her tracks titled My Tears Ricochet which was off of her 2020 album Folklore.
The statement concluded: 'Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift's name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.'
However, Justin's team soon withdrew the subpoena and a source exclusively told DailyMail.com why his attorney did so by stating: 'They got exactly what they were seeking.'
Swift made a big announcement on Friday - and revealed that she is now the owner of her entire music catalog.
The buy-back deal has been reported to be worth 'between $600million-$1billion' - although sources claimed to MailOnline that number is 'highly inaccurate.'
A separate insider informed Billboard that the Grammy winner had purchased back the rights to her music for around $360 million.
Her boyfriend Travis Kelce offered subtle support for the songstress who teased the news on Instagram - and the NFL player notably liked the post.
The couple - who were first romantically linked in 2023 - were recently spotted on a date night at Harry's Bar & Restaurant in West Palm Beach.
A source told People that Swift whisked herself away to Florida to 'support and spend time' with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
'Travis was working on Friday before his dinner date with Taylor. He left early to go meet her.'
Lively has also been seen hanging out with new A-list pals, and stepped out for dinner in NYC earlier this month with fellow actress Salma Hayek.
Blake and Justin's ongoing lawsuit began when she sued him for sexual assault late last year in December.
Baldoni responded by filing a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, and is also suing the New York Times for $250 million.
The legal battle is scheduled to go to court next year in March 2026.

Colorado attacker threw petrol bombs and used flamethrower to injure six at pro-Israel rally in Boulder
The FBI is investigating a "targeted terror attack" in Colorado after a man used a makeshift flamethrower and petrol bombs on a pro-Israel event. It happened as people in the city of Boulder were holding a walk to remember Israeli hostages in Gaza. A man is in custody and the FBI said he shouted "Free Palestine" as the attack unfolded. Six people aged 67 to 88 were injured - with some airlifted to hospital. A large part of the downtown area around Pearl Street is cordoned off as bomb squad officers in protective suits search for potential devices. Police chief Steve Redfearn said the attack happened around 1.26pm on Sunday and that initial reports were that "people were being set on fire". He said injuries ranged from "very serious" to "more minor". "When we arrived we encountered multiple victims that were injured, with injuries consistent with burns," Mr Redfearn told the media. Senior law enforcement officials told NBC News, Sky's US partner, at least one person was in a critical condition due to the "incendiary attack". Mr Redfearn said a suspect - who the FBI named as 45-year-old Mohamed Soliman - had been pointed out at the scene and taken into custody without incident. "This area is not safe yet and we're dealing with a vehicle of interest," he added. Boulder's police chief said it happened as a "group of pro- Israel people" were peacefully demonstrating. A joint statement from Boulder's Jewish community said "an incendiary device was thrown at walkers at the Run for Their Lives walk on Pearl Street as they were raising awareness for the hostages still held in Gaza". It added: "Our hearts go out to those who witnessed this horrible attack, and prayers for a speedy recovery to those who were injured." Colorado attorney general Phil Weiser said the group affected gathered weekly on Pearl Street to call for the release of the remaining hostages held by Hamas. Boulder is a university city of about 105,000 people on the northwest edge of Denver, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The attack follows the arrest of a Chicago-born man in the two weeks ago. Tensions are simmering in the US over Israel's war in Gaza. There has been an increase in antisemitic hate crime, as well as moves by some supporters of Israel to brand pro-Palestinian protests as antisemitic. President Trump's administration has detained protesters without charge and pulled funding from elite universities that have permitted such demonstrations.

Transgender athlete sends defiant message to critics after dominating girls' high school track meet
A transgender athlete told their critics to 'get a life' after they were booed for dominating a girl's state track championship in Washington. Veronica Garcia of East Valley of Spokane won the 400m by nearly a second at the championships on Saturday. Garcia also helped their school win the 4x100m relay. In 2024, Garcia became the first transgender athlete in Washington State to win a state track title and this weekend the 17-year-old was heckled by fans for the second year in a row. As reported by the Seattle Times, supporters cheered loudly for every other athlete during the medal ceremony, only for boos to ring out when Garcia's took to the podium. Earlier, during the warm-up, a man - wearing a shirt that read 'Save women's sports' - shouted 'Let's go girls!' and 'girls' race!' But the defiant 17-year-old hit back at her critics, telling the Seattle Times that the abuse was 'expected'. Look at the girls on the podium when the rightful champ, Lauren Matthew, is announced vs when the boy who stole her state title is announced. She is applauded. He is booed. Audio on. — Riley Gaines (@Riley_Gaines_) May 31, 2025 'But it maybe didn't have their intended effect. It made me angry, but not angry as in, I wanted to give up, but angry as in, I'm going to push,' Garcia said. 'I'm going to put this in the most PG-13 way, I'm just going to say it's a damn shame they don't have anything else better to do. I hope they get a life. But oh well. It just shows who they are as people.' The 17-year-old continued: 'I'm really proud of myself... I did what I came to do, and that's good enough for me.' Lauren Matthew, who came second in the 400m, was pictured holding a homemade sign which crowned her the 'real' champion. Before and after Garcia competed in the 4x400m relay, athletes from a rival school wore black T-shirts that read 'Keep Women's Sports Female.' In Washington, students are allowed to participate in sports based on their gender identity. That is despite Donald Trump signing an executive order - entitled 'Keeping Men out of Women's Sports' - and a string of controversial incidents involving transgender athletes this weekend. In California, AB Hernandez claimed gold in the high jump and triple jump at the state finals. A masked pro-trans protestor was also arrested at the event after being witnessed using a Progress Pride flag to attack a demonstrator. In Oregon, meanwhile, two female high jumpers refused to stand alongside a transgender rival on the podium at this weekend's high school state championships. Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School abandoned the medal ceremony in an apparent protest of a fifth-place finisher, who is reportedly transgender. Reese finished fourth in the state final while Anderson was third. Rather than taking their spots on the podium, footage obtained by Fox News showed the girls turning their backs to the crowd before being ushered away from the ceremony by an official.
