Owen Farrell has no regrets over France move that lasted one season
Owen Farrell insists he has no regrets from his time in France despite leaving Racing 92 after just one season to return to former club Saracens.
The former England captain had called time on his 16-year stay with the Gallagher Premiership side at the end of last season, having made more than 250 appearances.
However, the 33-year-old fly-half endured a disappointing, injury-disrupted campaign with the Top 14 outfit, and has rejoined Saracens on a two-year deal, returning to the club where he won three European Cups and six Premiership crowns.

'I don't regret going. I don't regret doing it,' Farrell said on Sky Sports.
'Even though it was disappointing how much I played, and how fit I was when I did play at times, I still don't regret doing it.
'Even though it was disappointing, the season that we had and the injuries that came with that, I still don't see it as a negative that I have come through it'.

Farrell added: 'I am obviously disappointed that it went the way it went, but I am glad we did it and thankful for the experience.
'It was a difficult year injury wise, then trying to bed into a new place and not feeling like you are able to able to give the best of yourself and not really getting going.
'All the years are precious now and hopefully the best for everyone was that I was here next year.
Farrell, who made his Saracens debut in 2008, just 11 days after his 17th birthday, has won 112 England caps and made six Test appearances for the British and Irish Lions.
The fly-half, though, has not been included in the squad – coached by his father Andy – for this summer's tour of Australia.

Emma Raducanu's stalker applied for Wimbledon tickets as tennis star's terrifying ordeal continues after Dubai horror
BRIT tennis star Emma Raducanu's Dubai horror continues after her stalker was caught trying to apply for Wimbledon tickets. The All England Club's security system picked out the man's name as being red flagged after the horror incident that saw Raducanu cower in fear at the Dubai Tennis Championship. 5 Raducanu shot to fame after winning the 2021 US Open at just 18-years-old Credit: AP 5 She was seen hiding behind the umpire's chair after spotting her stalker in February An All England Club source told The Sun that the man who followed Raducanu to four countries had applied for the ballot last year before the stalking incident happened in February. After the incident the All England Club removed his name from the ballot. He reportedly didn't try to apply for a ticket once he was given a restraining order. His attempt to enter the public ballot for tickets to Wimbledon was blocked after the system red flagged the stalker's details. Raducanu was left in tears at the Dubai Tennis Championship in February, suffering an apparent panic attack after spotting a man in the crowd who followed her to four separate tournaments across the globe. The 22-year-old's stalker was removed from the grounds and it was revealed he had given Raducanu a letter and asked for a photo in a coffee shop the day before. He was handed down a restraining order from the Dubai police and had his name circulated amongst tennis authorities. Raducanu was approached by her stalker at the player hotel in Dubai the day before her second-round match with Karolina Muchova. The man handed her a letter and took a photo with the young British tennis star which reportedly left her unnerved. She had previously spotted the individual at tournaments in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Doha. 'It's wildly inappropriate' - Moment Emma Raducanu's opponent intervenes and ushers cameraman away Raducanu reported the man to her team but the information was not passed on to the Women's Tennis Association until the following day. The Dubai Tournament was also not notified of the individual's presence or Raducanu's concerns until the following day. Raducanu's bid to hide herself from the stalker sparked concern among spectators. The man was removed from the crowd and taken from the stands to be detained by local police. Raducanu told reporters at the time: "I saw him in the first game of the match and I was like, 'I don't know how I'm going to finish.' "I literally couldn't see the ball through tears. I could barely breathe.
