Saudi Arabia to Host Human Capability Initiative Conference in April
Under the esteemed patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Saudi Arabia once again leads the charge in human development. The Human Capability Development Program (HCDP), an essential component of Saudi Vision 2030, proudly announces hosting the second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference. This year's theme, 'Beyond Readiness,' reflects a commitment to equipping individuals and communities with the necessary skills for future challenges. Building on Previous Success
The inaugural HCI conference in February 2024 was a resounding success since it welcomed over 10,000 visitors and 300 speakers. Moreover, more than 40 agreements were signed. However, HCI 2025 aims to build upon this momentum as it seeks to further global conversations on human potential.
The highly anticipated HCI 2025 will take place on April 13-14 at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh. In conjunction with the HCI, the Saudi Ministry of Education will host the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx) from April 13 to April 16, 2025. This dual initiative promises to enhance the educational landscape and propel Saudi Arabia's aspirations on the global stage. Themes and Focus Areas
HCI 2025 emphasizes the crucial themes of learning, belonging, and action. These themes address the urgent need to develop human potential amid unprecedented global transformation. Furthermore, HCI aspires to create an environment where communities flourish collectively. It employs the science of learning while encouraging inclusivity and sustainability within educational practices. Empowering changemakers remains a central focus at all levels.
Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the HCDP Executive Committee, expressed his appreciation for the continued patronage. He stated, 'The convening of the second edition of HCI emphasizes the significance of engaging in global dialogue. Our efforts will contribute positively to the future development of human capabilities.' Educational Innovations on Display
Mr. Al-Benyan elaborated on the scope of EDGEx, stating, 'This exhibition will present unparalleled opportunities for universities and leading companies. Participants will explore cutting-edge technologies, innovative practices, and educational programs that include advancements in artificial intelligence.' These initiatives aim to create new investment opportunities and align with the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
HCI 2025 expects to attract over 12,000 experts, officials, and decision-makers from various sectors. More than 300 international speakers will participate, representing government, non-profit, and private sectors. This diverse group will share transformative insights and best practices from around the globe, enriching the dialogue on future capabilities. Showcasing Educational Excellence
EDGEx aims to spotlight prominent local and international universities alongside leading institutions. By showcasing the latest technological advancements and innovative educational programs, EDGEx will inspire future educational reforms. Additionally, workshops will facilitate knowledge exchange and success story sharing among participating entities. The event also allows for strategic agreements with influential global educational institutions.
As HCI 2025 approaches, anticipation builds for groundbreaking discussions. This initiative embodies Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to human resource development, setting a benchmark for excellence in education and capability building.
