UN: Gaza Humanitarian Foundation fails to carry out humanitarian action

Saba Yemen16 hours ago

Geneva – Saba:
The United Nations condemned on Friday the work of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," which is supported by the Israeli entity and the United States.
During a press conference in Geneva, Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), said that this organization, which distributes food supplies in the Gaza Strip under often chaotic conditions, has failed to carry out humanitarian work.
He said, "The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, in terms of humanitarian principles, has failed. They are not doing what a humanitarian operation is supposed to do, which is to provide assistance to people where they are, in a safe manner."
According to the United Nations, distributing food and essential supplies in the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip after more than twenty months of continuous Israeli aggression has become increasingly difficult and dangerous in the Palestinian territories threatened by famine.
According to Laerke, "The United Nations is prepared to resume large-scale humanitarian aid operations as soon as Israel allows a sufficient number of aid trucks to pass through."
As of Thursday, 245 Palestinians were martyred and 2,125 others were injured by Israeli enemy army fire near aid distribution sites run by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation."
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. This has resulted in the deaths of 55,207 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 127,821 others, as of Thursday, according to a preliminary toll. Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.

Iranian Army: Missile Attacks on Zionist entity will be 20 times more intensive

Tehran - Saba: The Iranian Army spokesman announced on Saturday that the missile attacks Iran will launch on the Zionist entity will be 20 times more intense than previous attacks. The spokesman explained that the next missile launch will involve approximately 2,000 missiles. The Iranian Fars News Agency, quoting an informed military source, reported that "the war that began with Israeli attacks will expand in the coming days to include all occupied territories and American bases in the region." The source noted that "military leaders confirm that the confrontation will not be limited to the limited actions carried out last night." The source confirmed, as reported by Fars News Agency, that "Iranian strikes will continue and will be extremely painful for the aggressors and will make them regret it." For its part, the Iranian Tasnim News Agency quoted an Iranian official as confirming that attacks against the Zionist entity will continue at an escalating pace, stressing that Tehran considers it within its legitimate right to respond to the aggression that occurred at dawn on June 13. The agency quoted this unidentified official as saying in a statement to CNN: "Iran will target the regional bases of any country that provides support to Israel." He added that the United States, whose forces are deployed in the southern Persian Gulf states, Iraq, and Jordan, is not alone. France and Germany also have forces stationed in Jordan, and British forces launched from Cyprus participated in Operations True Promise 1 and 2 in support of the Zionist entity. The Iranian official reiterated that Tehran considers it within its legitimate right to respond to the Zionist aggression at dawn on June 13, and that the pace of attacks against the Zionist entity will accelerate. Tonight, Iran announced an attack on Israeli sites in response to the ongoing raids targeting Tehran and Iranian cities, which have killed dozens, including a group of first-rank military leaders and nuclear experts. Iran confirmed the infliction of losses on the Zionist entity. In six waves that continued until the morning, Iran launched hundreds of missiles at large areas of the occupying entity, including the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Editor-in-Chief of Russia Today Group: Iran-Israel crisis will end with "Nuclear Warning"

Moscow - Saba: Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the international media group Russia Today and RT TV, said on Saturday that the Iran-Israel crisis will end with a "nuclear warning." Sputnik quoted Simonyan as saying on her Telegram channel: "All of this will end with a nuclear warning. This is the case for both sides. They have it and we have it, but the most likely scenario is currently theirs." On the night of June 13, the Israeli enemy army launched a large-scale operation dubbed "Rising Lion," in which the air force attacked military targets and sites of the Iranian nuclear program. The Israeli Enemy Air Force carried out several waves of attacks across Iran, including Tehran, killing a number of senior Iranian military officials, including the chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in addition to a number of nuclear scientists. The Natanz nuclear facility, an Iranian military base located in the northwest of the country, was also bombed. The International Atomic Energy Agency announced that this nuclear facility, as well as the Fordow enrichment plant, were not damaged in the Israeli attack. However, Iranian authorities later announced damage to the Natanz enrichment facility. In his message to his country's citizens, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described the Israeli attacks on Iran as a crime and said that "Israel" would face a "bitter and terrible fate."
