
'You Killed 19,000 Children': Israeli MP Removed From Podium Over Gaza Remarks

At least 60 people were killed by the latest Israeli strikes across Gaza in a 24-hour period, Gaza's health ministry said Friday.
Israeli MP Ayman Odeh was forcibly removed from the podium in the parliament after he denounced Israel's war in Gaza amid the rising death toll.
'After a year and a half in which you killed 19000 children, 53,000 residents, destroyed all the universities and the hospitals, you feel there is no political win, that's why you go crazy," he says before being removed from the podium.
His speech created chaos in the parliament. A video shows the MP speaking in the parliament as others oppose. Moments later, he was removed from the podium. He kept speaking as he was being taken away.
Meanwhile, in the latest update, at least 60 people were killed by Israeli strikes across Gaza in a 24-hour period, Gaza's health ministry said Friday.
The deceased include 10 people in the southern city of Khan Younis, four in the central town of Deir al-Balah and nine in the Jabaliya refugee camp in the north, according to the Nasser, Al-Aqsa and Al-Ahli hospitals where the bodies were brought.

Journalists killed in Israel's attack on state radio, television building: Iran Embassy in India
Tehran [Iran], June 16 (ANI): The Embassy of Iran in India on Monday shared a photo of smoke billowing from a building and said that its state radio and television building had been attacked, resulting in the deaths and injury of large number of Iranian journalists. Sharing the details in a post on X, the Embassy said that the 'criminal act' violates all international regulations. It said, 'A few minutes ago, in a brutal attack, the criminal #Zionist regime targeted the building of Iran's state radio and television (IRIB), killing and injuring a large number of Iranian journalists. We expect independent media in #India to condemn this criminal act, which clearly violates all international regulations.' Earlier on Monday, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian had said in a post on X, 'We have never been and are not aggressors, but hand in hand, we stand strong against the brutal criminal. All countries should condemn Israel's attack on Iran, says Cultural Counsellor at Iran Culture House in Delhi
New Delhi [India], June 16 (ANI): Farid Faridasr, the Cultural Counsellor at Iran Culture House in Delhi, said that Iran has expectations from the world that countries should condemn the attack by Israel on Iran. Noting that the country has cleared its position that it doesn't seek nuclear weapons and has had the most visits by the IAEA, the Counsellor also remarked that the safety of people in Iran is their top priority. Speaking to ANI on the rising tensions between Iran and Israel, Farid Faridasr said, 'One thing is very clear and evident for the international community that they (Israel) have invaded our country and they have attacked on our civilians as well as the army members and we have just responded. And it is ideal that international community should put some pressure on the invader country, not us. And we are trying to respond to that attack which happened on our soil.' Speaking about the nuclear issue, Counsellor Faridasr said, 'We always cleared our position that we've never been looking for the nuclear weapons and it is just a stunt by the enemy countries. The most visits by IAEA, we had in our country, Chiefs have visited Iran a number of times and a number of times we have cleared that Iran was never looking for the weapons and we were just using it for our energy in our country'.
