Apple has released The Parent Presentation, an 81-page slide deck available in Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Keynote format, and a promo video hosted by 'nepo baby' / Please Don't Destroy comedian Martin Herlihy, aimed at getting students a Mac for school next year.
I can't decide if it's a solid pitch (who hasn't held a family meeting to get approval for a high-priced tech purchase?) or if it will miss its target audience because it's 8 minutes long and not in a vertical video format. Either way, we also have some advice on which laptop is the best option.

Here's Why I'm Buying Alphabet Stock Like There's No Tomorrow
Generative AI is challenging Alphabet's Google search business. The company's financial results have remained strong despite this rising competitor. 10 stocks we like better than Alphabet › Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) doesn't get the same respect as its big tech peers. These stocks all trade at a premium to the market, as measured by the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC), while Alphabet does not. There is a lot of pessimism that Alphabet's primary cash cow, the Google search engine, could be losing its dominance, threatening the company as we know it today. However, the numbers don't back this up. Google Search is still dominant and making a ton of money. Because of Alphabet's strong financial picture and cheap price, it's an excellent stock to load up on right now. Most of the concern about Alphabet losing market share involves users switching to alternatives, such as generative AI models. Regardless of which one they use, each time a generative AI model is asked a question, it is one time that Google isn't able to place ads in front of a user. This threatens a core part of the company's business because it gets 56% of its revenue from search. We've seen Google's market share slip a bit, dropping below 90% for the first time since 2015 earlier this year. Still, this doesn't mean the financial picture is trending in the wrong direction, as Google Search revenue rose 10% year over year in the first quarter. One thing helping Google maintain its position is the introduction of AI search overviews, which bridge the gap between a traditional Google search and using a generative AI model. Management has discussed how popular the feature is, and it is going to continue developing it. Although the forecast for Google's market share isn't particularly great, it's still doing an excellent job with its business. I think the market is underestimating the fact that most consumers aren't going to switch away from Google unless something much better is launched. This will protect Alphabet's mindshare and ensure that it continues producing solid results. The first quarter's results were truly fantastic and did not indicate a company that was struggling at all. In that quarter, overall revenue increased 12% year over year, and diluted earnings per share (EPS) increased 49% year over year. If all I presented were those growth rates and its valuation, you would think it's an incredibly undervalued stock. But because Alphabet's name is attached to the stock, it trades at a hefty discount to the market and its peers. With the stock trading at a mere 18.6 times forward earnings, it's far cheaper than the S&P 500, which trades at 22.9 times forward earnings. The results become even more eye-opening compared to some of its peers in big tech. Note: All growth rates were taken from each company's last reported quarters. Alphabet is posting results similar to these other three, yet it trades for a massive discount compared to them. This makes me conclude one of two things: The other big tech stocks are overvalued, or Alphabet is undervalued. Both can be true, but what matters is what investors do with their money. Alphabet is a great stock right now, as it combines growth and value well. This combination could provide explosive returns in the future, making it one of my best stocks to buy. Spider-Man: Brand New Day Is Bringing In A Marvel TV Fan-Favorite, And Now I'm Curious How This Is Going To Work

I know that the 2025 movie schedule just may prove us wrong, if it hasn't already, but I think the biggest WTF is about to be dropped onto the MCU table. That's because it's just been announced that another Marvel TV character is about to debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 2026 slate, thanks to Spider-Man: Brand New Day. And considering who they brought in for No Way Home, this seems like a pretty dead giveaway. That's right, kids… it's Frank 'The Punisher' Castle! Jon Bernthal is now set to make his MCU debut on the big screen, as THR broke the news that he's now in director Destin Daniel Cretton's upcoming Marvel movie. That's surely enough to distract us all from trying to guess Sadie Sink's mysterious Brand New Day role, or what this means about Vincent D'Onofrio's 'off limits' comments when talking about a Kingpin intro, right? It's kind of wild that we're now seeing our second street level defender jumping in through the Spider-Man movies. As I previously alluded, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home before he made his huge resurgence in Daredevil: Born Again. And when it comes to Peter Parker (Tom Holland), having him potentially pick up The Punisher's anti-hero as a mentor makes sense, both in the comics and in the wake of No Way Home's ending. We're about to see Peter enter a new era of his life, where he'll potentially be balancing a job at the Daily Bugle and classes with Dr. Otto Octavius. Hence the Brand New Day subtitle, which also cleverly works in a reference to the comic arc that saw Peter Parker embark on a massive redo after the 'One Day More' arc. And if you want to see what Frank Castle has been up to as of late, then you can stream the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, currently available on Disney+. Maybe there's a clue to this upcoming team up that we've missed, hiding in plain sight.

What you need to know about Summerfest 2025 tickets, lineup, parking, bag policy and more
From Devo to Japanese Breakfast, Joy Oladokun to Hozier, Megan Thee Stallion to Saxsquatch, Summerfest 2025 is bringing about 600 performers from across the music spectrum to Milwaukee's lakefront. Once again, the format will be Thursday-through-Saturday weekends of entertainment at Maier Festival Park. Of note: The 2025 festival takes place on both the Juneteenth and Fourth of July holidays. Summerfest 2025 takes place June 19-21, June 26-28 and July 3-5 at Maier Festival Park, 200 N. Harbor Drive, in Milwaukee. Noon to midnight each day the festival is open. Visit General admission: $30 for a single ticket for one day. Tickets are not valid for admission to American Family Insurance Amphitheater shows, which require separate tickets. American Family Insurance Amphitheater: Tickets for these headlining shows vary by performer, and include general admission to Summerfest. These can be purchased through BMO Pavilion reserved seating: Reserved tickets (which include general admission to the festival) can be purchased through Prices vary.
