
Tecom shareholders approve $109m cash dividend for H2 2024
Tecom Group said its shareholders have approved the financial statements for FY 2024 as well as the recommendation by the board of directors to distribute a cash dividend of AED400 million ($109 million) - accounting for 8fils per share - for the second half of 2024.
The announcement came during the Annual General Assembly Meeting, where shareholders re-elected the Board of Directors and approved the financial statements for the year that ended December 31, 2024.
With this approval, the total cash dividends from Tecom have risen to AED800 million (16 fils per share), in line with the approved dividend policy in place until the end of the first half of 2025.
Lauding the move, Chairman Malek Al Malek said: "Tecom Group's strong performance through 2024 has allowed us to implement our strategic investments. This includes AED2.7 billion of investments to deliver sustainable growth as we continue to expand and contribute to Dubai's economic success whilst providing increased returns for our shareholders."
Tecom Group has announced a 11% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenues which soared to AED2.4 billion, with occupancy and retention rates of 94% and 92%, respectively.

Himatrix launches key phase of Dubai Industrial City R&D unit
Himatrix Group, a leading industrial equipment supplier in Dubai, has inaugurated the first phase of its application lab, research, and training centre at Dubai Industrial City. Spanning 45,000 sq ft, the key facility will support its 100-strong workforce. Tecom Q1 revenue up 21% to $185m
Tecom Group, a leading developer and operator of specialised business districts across Dubai, has announced a 21% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenues to AED680 million ($185.13 million) for the first quarter of 2025, while net profit grew by 23% YoY to reach AED361 million during the period. Clédor and Arthouse Hotel, NYC partner for RAK residences
Clédor, a real estate development management firm, and New York City's Arthouse Hotel have partnered to launch Al Marjan Arthouse residences on the Al Marjan Islands in Ras Al Khaimah, the companies have announced. The AED400 million ($109 million) project marks Arthouse Hotel's first residential venture outside the US. Clédor, with a development pipeline valued at over AED2.1 billion, said the branded residences align with its strategy to create high-yield, design-focused communities, targeting investor returns of over 150% and average unit prices exceeding AED 14 million.
