Now in its seventh year, Converters Expo South is a one-day expo that unites converters of paper, film, plastics, and nonwovens with industry buyers, specialists, and suppliers. Attracting material converters and manufacturers across the Southeast's impressive array of industries, the event is expected to bring in over 100 exhibitors and more than 500 attendees.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KBRA assigns a long-term rating of AA to the Alaska Municipal Bond Bank Authority General Obligation and Refunding Bonds, 2025 Series Three. KBRA also affirms the long-term rating of AA for the Authority's outstanding General Obligation Bonds. KBRA additionally affirms the long-term rating of AA+ for the State of Alaska's General Obligation Bonds as well as the long-term rating of AA for the State's Appropriation Bonds. The rating Outlook for each obligation is Stable. Key Credit Considerations The rating actions reflect the following key credit considerations: Credit Positives Essentiality of underlying loans for local government financing needs and mechanisms for State support of Authority Bonds. History of full and timely payment of Authority Bonds without reserve draws or State support. Precautionary appropriation by the State each year since 2009 to replenish Authority DSRFs in the event of draws. Municipal-Bond Market Inches Closer to $5 Trillion With a Record Quarter

Municipal-bond bankers have been extra busy this year as state and local governments rush to borrow at a record pace to fund projects. State and local governments have sold $153 billion of new debt in the second quarter, already the biggest ever with just four trading days left in the period, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. That has lifted 2025 sales to more than $271 billion, a 21% increase over last year's volume.
