Luckily, one cash-savvy woman has come to rescue with an easy trick that means you won't have to fork out for a cabin bag or underseat bag for the plane.
And you've already explored more exotic destinations, such as Australia and South America, chances are you already have the necessary item.
Rather than spending a mini fortune on a carry-on bag,
TikToker Nina Edwine proved just how much you can put inside an empty travel pillow.
What's more, not only can you store your clothes safely but the packed pillow will also provide the ultimate comfort on long-haul journeys.
And don't be fooled by the relatively small size of the pillow either - Nina jam-packed the space with heaps of items.
In the video, the holiday-goer, from Germany, was seen removing a non-padded bra, what appeared to be a strappy dress, several tops, a stunning co-ord in red and more.
In total, Nina - who posts under the username @nina_edwine - whipped out a whopping ten pieces of clothing form the pillow cover.
This, she added later on, was perfect to create ''more than six'' different outfits.
Chuffed with her hack, the bargain-mad traveller said: ''Rat technique to avoid paying 50 euros (£42) for cabin luggage.''
While some major airlines offer their customers a small cabin bag free of charge, the allowance may not be enough - which is where this hack comes in handy.

The clip has since taken the platform by storm, winning the savvy woman more than a whopping 2.6million views.
With summer now officially here, the hack has gone viral, as over 75k people gave it a like and almost 1,900 flooded to comments.

Another viewer was in total disbelief, writing: ''Wait you fit so much stuff in there.''
