GOBankingRates spoke to two automotive experts who shared some classics that are worth watching now. These cars offer rarity, performance and design appeal without requiring very deep pockets.
Overshadowed by the Mustang it helped inspire, the Falcon Sprint has become a cult favorite, according to Lauren Fix, founder of Car Coach Reports.
Lightweight, V8-powered and scarce, Fix values these between $20,000 and $35,000. They're now being appreciated on their own merits rather than viewed as Mustang prequels.

The Mustang has always had collector appeal, but models equipped with the GT Equipment Package, especially fastbacks, are seeing renewed interest.
Terry Shea, Marketplace Editor at collector car marketplace Hemmings, highlighted this version for its rarity, stronger V8s and better handling. Fewer than 45,000 GTs were produced across two years, a sliver of total Mustang output. The early pony car craze still has fuel in the tank.
A sleeper among sedans, the 6.9 hides big-block muscle under luxury sheet metal.
'Don't be fooled by the three-pointed star hood ornament,' said Shea — it's a muscle car in disguise.
Less than 2,000 were sold in the U.S., and with advanced tech like early ABS and self-leveling suspension, it's starting to gain the attention it missed decades ago.
Often ignored for not being a 911, the Porsche 944 offers sharp handling and solid design. Fix shared it as a $15,000 to $40,000 buy that's fun to drive and gaining traction as a retro-cool sports car with real Porsche DNA.
According to Fix, the C4 ZR-1 is 'undervalued due to its dated angular design' but delivers serious performance and growing collector interest.
Priced between $10,000 and $20,000, the ZR-1 combines exclusivity with serious output from its Lotus-designed V8. It's a smart entry point for future value.
According to Shea, the S2000 is a 'free-revving' anomaly in a market dominated by tech-heavy performance cars. With its 9,000 rpm redline and roadster styling, it fills a gap in today's electric-first landscape.
Nothing else on the road drives quite like it, and as buyers realize what's been lost, prices are catching up.
Shea shared the C5-generation Corvette Z06 as a prime example of accessible performance with long-term upside. All Z06s featured the LS6 V8, six-speed manual and a rigid, lightweight body.
'It's only a matter of time before collectors turn again to the C5, particularly the high-performance Z06,' he said.
As prices for later-generation Corvettes climb, this analog-era powerhouse is being rediscovered.
Shea also flagged the M3 for its naturally aspirated S54 engine, razor-sharp handling and pure driving experience.
'Today's M cars are quite a bit quicker,' he explained. 'But the '01 to '06 M3 delivers a more visceral experience for most drivers.'
Prices remain strong and are expected to stay that way.

What's Going on With Ram? CEO Promises Turnaround
You will be forgiven for thinking Ram is down and out these days. The brand killed the Hemi V-8 that was a highlight of its 1500 full-size pickups, stopped building the affordable (but old) Ram Classic, and had a difficult launch of the Hemi-less 2025 Ram 1500 that included problems getting trims with all the bells and whistles out the door while also trying to start producing new Heavy Duties at the same plant. EV plans were pushed back, both for the range-extending Ramcharger and the entirely battery electric Ram 1500 REV. It adds up to a bad stretch for a brand critical to parent company Stellantis' U.S. fortunes. 0:00 / 0:00 Don't count the brand out yet, says Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis, the man who retired from Stellantis a year ago and returned in December to try to turn things around. The longtime executive returned after former Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares resigned and was exasperated at the botched Ram 1500 launch and high prices that were dragging down sales of a brand that had been flying high for years. The Fix Is In? Sales are better, he insists. With production volumes limited, the focus pivoted to fulfilling U.S. retail customers while foregoing fleet sales, especially to rental companies. The result: Retail sales were up 16 percent in the first quarter, will be closer to 40 percent higher in the second quarter, and likely will end the half about 25 percent up. At the same time, rental fleet sales will be down 90 percent. Losing the more affordable Ram Classic truck has hurt sales somewhat but there are plans to claw back some of those sales. But if anyone is expecting the return of a $40,000 stripped-down truck, those days are gone, Kuniskis says. With mandates and the tech needed, you can't strip a full-size truck down far enough and make money, he says. 'That's a midsize pickup,' he quips, and then says yes, a midsize to replace the Dakota is still in the plan but won't offer more detail right now. The 2026 Ram 1500 comes close to the old Classic's bogey, starting at $44,495. And there are 25 product and product-related announcements coming, the CEO says. EVs Will Come in Time And yes, EVs have been delayed. The Ramcharger goes into production later this year; the all-electric REV could arrive as late as summer 2027. The long-term commitment to these electrified trucks remains intact and Ram is enjoying the luxury of timing working in its favor. Being a bit of a laggard in the full-size electric pickup space allowed Ram to see how the forerunners were received. Executives watched the marketplace and saw prices increase and demand wane. Stellantis took advantage of Ram's tardiness to push back deadlines until a later date in the hopes profit margins on these products will improve. Bottom line: 'We have to get there,' Kuniskis says of EVs. Regulations and the need for compliance still exist despite some changes, so some form of electrification is needed. But the late launch will help the business case. 'We are able to delay until we can get a better margin.' Ram will still be first among a new crop to offer an extended-range EV (EREV) with the Ramcharger, which uses its gas engine only as a generator for its smaller-than-REV battery. (Vehicles that use the engine to power the wheels at all are considered to be plug-in hybrids, but the Ramcharger does not.) Everyone else will follow the Ramcharger's lead, Kuniskis says.

Seeking Pikes Peak Record, Ford Ditches F-150 SuperTruck for New Super Mustang Mach-E
There are few races globally each year that hold such historic legacies and general allure as the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The 'race to the clouds' is run annually on a public road that snakes up a literal mountain, and it holds a tight grip on manufacturers looking to show just how good their motorsports engineers are. Last year, Romain Dumas took the win in the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning SuperTruck but missed out beating Volkswagen's record of 7 minutes, 57 seconds in the ID.R, set in 2018 (and which was also driven by Dumas). For 2025, Dumas returns with Ford yet again with one goal and a new car. Or, rather, a new SUV: the Super Mustang Mach-E. 0:00 / 0:00 You'd think that Dumas would be content with holding the Pikes Peak record, but race car drivers are a finicky bunch and usually don't settle for 'good enough.' That's why Dumas continues to drive up Pikes Peak with a rival brand like Ford. He wants to beat the mountain, again, for that next hit of ecstasy knowing he's set a new, seemingly impossible record to break. It's also why Ford has hired him—the automaker knows he's one of the best going up that mountain thanks to a record that has stood for nearly a decade now. I Now Ford recognizes he needs a new ride, so this year, he's piloting something a bit closer to a car than a truck or van. The Mustang Mach-E is a wild looking creation, and a big step beyond the 2023 SuperVan 4.2 racer and Ford F-150 SuperTruck. The Mach-E also looks to continue the all-electric domination of Pikes Peak; since VW ran the ID.R to the current record, no ICE-powered vehicle has broken it. Details on the Super Mustang Mach-E are scarce right now, since all we have is an Instagram post from Ford introducing it. An all-new racing vehicle, it appears to carry over little from the SuperTruck or even the SuperVan 4.2. The entire aerodynamics package has changed, with larger diffuser tunnels exiting the rear. The rear wing has gone back to a more traditional race car design with endplates over the curved, body joining structure. Even the front spoiler has changed with thicker end plates and new features. But the biggest change of all is using the Mach-E body. While just as much of an interpretation as the Lightning SuperTruck was to the F-150, the Mach-E is much closer to looking like its road car version. Much like the NASCAR EV prototype, however, the Super Mach-E is more coupe like than four-door SUV of the street legal electric crossover. This has reduced the overall frontal area and looks to have possibly lowered the overall profile versus both SuperVan and SuperTruck. Ford has promised more details closer to the race, but 2025 is looking like a massive effort by the Blue Oval to give Dumas every chance to get that dopamine rush of taking the overall win and the record again.

2026 Toyota Sienna Hybrid Review, Pricing, and Specs
Overview With lounge-like seating for up to eight, an available center-console fridge, and a built-in vacuum on upper trims, the Toyota Sienna minivan aims to be almost like a mobile home. While homes don't typically receive fuel economy estimates, the EPA rates the Sienna as the efficiency leader in its class. Its fuel-sipping hybrid powertrain comes with either front- or all-wheel drive, and the engine noise while accelerating is really the only disturbance to an otherwise tranquil cabin experience. With its superior fuel economy and flawless execution of all the minivan fundamentals, the Sienna is among our favorite vans, beating out stiff competition like the Honda Odyssey and Kia Carnival and trailing only the quirky and electric Volkswagen What's New for 2026? After a light interior refresh brought an updated infotainment suite, an Advanced Rear Seat Reminder feature, and some upgraded wireless charging tech last year, the Sienna carries over into 2026 unchanged. Pricing and Which One to Buy The price of the 2026 Toyota Sienna is expected to start around $41,000 and go up to $58,000 depending on the trim and options. LE $41,000 (est) XLE $46,000 (est) XSE $49,000 (est) Limited $52,000 (est) Woodland Edition $52,000 (est) Platinum $58,000 (est) We'd go for the XSE model, which comes with sport seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, second-row captain's chairs, and Toyota's "one-motion-stow" third row. Other tweaks include 20-inch wheels, more aggressive front and rear bumpers, and tauter suspension. The XSE, like all Sienna trims, comes standard with front-wheel drive, but adding all-wheel drive costs less than $1000 and seems like a worthwhile upgrade to us. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The Sienna has been offered exclusively as a hybrid since its 2021 redesign. Its powertrain consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a pair of electric motors that make a combined 245 horsepower. All-wheel drive is available across the lineup and features a third electric motor that drives the rear wheels but doesn't increase total output. The Sienna delivers an uninspiring driving experience but, importantly, it aces ride comfort without going too far toward the soft end of the spectrum. 0–60-MPH Times An all-wheel-drive Sienna Limited we tested required 7.5 seconds to reach 60 mph. For context, that's quicker than the Pacifica Hybrid, the same as the Kia Carnival's time, and behind the hot rod of the segment, the Honda Odyssey. View Exterior Photos Toyota Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG The EPA hasn't released fuel economy information for the 2026 Sienna yet, but without any significant changes, the newest model should deliver similar fuel economy to last year's model. The front-drive 2025 Sienna stood as the segment's thriftiest people hauler, with EPA fuel-economy estimates of 36 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. Adding all-wheel drive reduced the city metric by 1 mpg. Over 40,000 miles, our all-wheel-drive Platinum long-term test vehicle averaged 29 mpg. In our 75-mile highway fuel-economy test, an all-wheel-drive Sienna returned an impressive 33 mpg. For more information about the Sienna's fuel economy, visit the EPA's website. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo Toyota packed tons of storage into the Sienna's interior, the centerpiece of which is a large center console that stretches from the dashboard to the start of the second row, with a sizable open storage cubby underneath. There are also 18 cupholders scattered about the cabin. Frequent haulers of cargo may be disappointed to learn that the Sienna's second-row seats are not removable like those in the Odyssey and the Pacifica Hybrid. As a consolation prize of sorts, the second-row captain's chairs can slide a total of 25 inches fore and aft, providing either maximum legroom for either of the rear rows or more cargo space behind the second row. The cargo area behind the third row measures 34 cubic feet compared to the Kia Carnival's 40 cubes. Limited and Platinum models feature reclining second-row seats with pop-up ottomans, and an onboard vacuum cleaner and fridge are available on the Limited and standard on the Platinum trim. View Interior Photos Toyota Infotainment and Connectivity The Sienna LE's infotainment touchscreen measures 8.0 inches, while all other models get a 12.3-inch display. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa connectivity features are all standard, as is an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot and SiriusXM satellite radio. A smattering of USB-C ports dot the van's cabin, and there's a USB-A port in the console for older devices. The base stereo is a 6-speaker setup, and XLE models get eight speakers. A 12-speaker JBL stereo system is optional on the XLE and XSE and standard on the Limited and Platinum. In-dash navigation is standard starting with the XSE trim; a rear-seat entertainment system with an 11.6-inch display is optional on all but the base LE model. A 7.0-inch instrument cluster display is nestled between analog gauges on LE and XLE models, while upper trims get a fully digital gauge cluster. A head-up display is available and is standard on Platinum. Safety and Driver-Assistance Features Ten airbags, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross-traffic alert, and Toyota's Safety Sense 2.0 bundle of driver-assistance features are standard on the Sienna, while convenience items such as parking sensors and a 360-degree exterior camera system are optional.
