CCTV footage released by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office captures the moment a man lit a fire on a busy subway in the South Korean capital last month. The footage, from May 31, shows passengers running away after the suspect doused the floor of the train carriage with flammable liquid before setting it alight. Reuters reports that according to the prosecutors' office, six people were injured. The prosecutor's office says it charged the 67-year-old man with attempted murder and arson.

Chicago man charged with allegedly beating another man during armed robbery in West Pullman
A man was charged with allegedly beating another man during an armed robbery on the city's South Side last year. Carl Sturdivant, 44, was arrested by Chicago police on Thursday in the 2700 block of South California Avenue. He was charged with felony counts of attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery with a dangerous weapon, and aggravated battery with use of a deadly weapon. El Paso man allegedly robs Subway disguised as woman, wearing pink dress, high heels
An El Paso man was arrested after allegedly robbing a Subway restaurant wearing a pink dress, high heels, and a dark wig, authorities said. Deputies responded about 7:25 p.m. Sunday, June 22, to a report of an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant located in the 12500 block of Pellicano Drive in the Far Eastside, El Paso County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Priscilla Contreras wrote in a news release. Employees told deputies a man entered the restaurant wearing a pink dress, high heels, a dark wig and sunglasses. The man concealed one arm under a brown paper bag and handed the employees a note that read, 'Money in the bag,' the news release states. The man was "pointing the bag in a threatening manner to suggest he was armed," the news release states. He fled with about $50 to $60 in cash. He was last seen leaving in a white Nissan Frontier pickup truck. The truck was later connected to two additional robberies in the area, the news release states. No information was released on the two other robberies. Reyes was arrested in connection with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of robbery. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on Tuesday, June 24, on a bond totaling $130,000. He remains jailed as of Friday, June 27, jail logs show. No further information was released as the case remains under active investigation. 2 arrested in connection to Philadelphia fire that killed pregnant woman, 2 children
Two people were arrested and charged in connection with a fire in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion neighborhood that claimed the lives of a pregnant woman and two of her children on June 13. Charles Sumpter, 67, and Fleitte Newell, 44, were taken into custody after police served a search warrant Wednesday at a home in the 2800 block of West Albert Street. Both have been charged with multiple counts of murder and related offenses connected to the deaths of Ashley Thompson, 32, Assad Thompson, 6, and Alaya Thompson-Newell, 4, according to Philadelphia police. Just before 5 a.m. on June 13, officers arrived at a house fire in the 2500 block of North Corlies Street. Police said the home was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters found five people inside the home. Assad Thompson and Alaya Thompson-Newell were taken to the hospital, where they later died. A third child was also taken to the hospital and remains in stable condition, police said. Two women were also found in the home. A 54-year-old woman was hospitalized in stable condition and Ashley Thompson, who was eight months pregnant, died at the scene. There is no word on a possible motive at this time.
