F1 TV launches new subscription tier, F1 TV Premium
The award-winning F1 TV is getting bigger with the launch of F1 TV Premium, a new premier service that invites fans to take a step into the heart of the action. With the ability to watch the race in 4K Ultra HD/HDR, along with a new personalised Multiview feature available on select devices, watching F1 at home or on the go has become more immersive than ever. F1 TV Premium allows fans to fully immerse themselves in the F1 weekend with a host of features. Viewers can watch every F1 Grand Prix, Sprint, Qualifying and practice session live in 4K Ultra HD/HDR at home, with F2, F3, F1 ACADEMY and Porsche Supercup sessions also available to watch live on the platform. At launch, F1 TV Premium will be available to purchase on Chrome web browser, Apple iOS, Apple TV and Roku. Premium subscribers can watch F1 on up to six devices simultaneously and the new Multiview feature, initially available for customers on Apple iOS, Chrome web browser, and TVOS compatible devices, allows fans to watch all their favourite elements of the broadcast – including the F1 live feed, onboard cameras and live timing pages together on one screen. F1 TV Premium marks the biggest upgrade to F1 TV in several years. Building on the success of F1 TV Pro, which allows fans to watch every angle of Grand Prix like a Team Principal, F1 TV Premium goes one step further to create the ultimate viewing experience for fans.
F1 TV ushered in a new era for watching Formula 1 with the F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Access subscriptions. F1 TV Pro offers fans a high quality, ad-free service that includes live feeds of every session at every event, featuring driver-on-board cameras, team radio and in-depth data alongside exclusive behind the scenes content. F1 TV Access provides a simplified alternative, giving fans access to live race timing data and full race replays. In 2025, fans tuning in will once again be treated to a world-class broadcast fronted by the talented F1 TV team. Hosted by presenter Laura Winter, six-time IndyCar race winner and Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame Inductee James Hinchcliffe, and F1 correspondent Lawrence Barretto. They are joined by commentators Alex Jacques and former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer, as well as former Head of Race Strategy – at what is now Kick Sauber – Ruth Buscombe-Divey, 2012 GP2 series champion Davide Valsecchi, European Le Mans Series Champion Alex Brundle, and Technical Analyst Sam Collins. Formula 1 and FIA announce 2026 calendar
Formula 1 and the FIA have announced the calendar for the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship, which will see the introduction of a new venue, new teams and new regulations for the next generation of F1 cars that will run on 100% advanced sustainable fuels. Commencing in Australia on 6-8 March, the calendar, which was approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council, will feature 24 races, with the season finale in Abu Dhabi on 4-6 December. In 2026, Ramadan will be throughout February and March, meaning the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix will once again be held in April. The 2026 calendar sees further improvements to the geographical flow of races, including the Canadian Grand Prix now following Miami in an earlier slot from 22-24 May, delivering significant freight efficiencies as some equipment can move directly from one to the other. This change creates a consolidated European leg of the season across the summer months, beginning in Monaco from 5-7 June, and finishing in Spain, where Madrid will make its Formula 1 calendar debut from 11-13 September. The Championship then returns to Asia with the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix, ahead of a triple header in the Americas, before Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi once again close out the season. Bahrain Grand Prix Confirmed for April 10–12, 2026
Bahrain will host the fourth round of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship, following the release of next season's official calendar by Formula 1 and the FIA. The Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 is scheduled to take place from April 10 to 12 at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir. The Kingdom retains its position on the calendar for a second consecutive year, with the season set to kick off in Australia (March 6–8), followed by China (March 13–15) and Japan (March 27–29) before arriving in Bahrain. The race will then be followed by the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah (April 17–19). The 2026 season will feature 24 races, with Madrid joining the calendar as a new addition from September 11 to 13, and the season concluding in Abu Dhabi (December 4–6).
