Lineup unveiled for 2025 Three Rivers Arts Festival
Summer will be here before you know it, and in Pittsburgh, summer means the Three Rivers Arts Festival.
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust on Monday unveiled the lineup of musicians and artists who will bring their talents to the abbreviated four-day festival from June 5-8.
Headliners include the Preservation Hall Jazz Band; Teira Kennedy, who was recognized as a collaborator on Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter;" "Tom's Diner" writer Suzanne Vega; and Grammy Award-winning 90s singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb.
The artist market will return with more than 200 artists from around the region and the country. Some artists will be on-site for two days, meaning on Saturday, visitors will be able to discover new vendors.
Arts festival finds new temporary home
This year, the arts festival is moving to the riverfront lots at the 15th Street Plaza along Waterfront Place in the Strip District. It's just a temporary stop while the festival's new home, a four-acre civil space called Arts Landing in the Cultural District, is under construction.
"New neighborhood, same spirit," Brooke Horejsi, the Cultural Trust's chief programming and engagement officer said in a news release. "Gathering together in the Strip District adds a new dimension to this year's Festival but the artistry and community spirit that has defined this cherished event for decades will have us feeling right at home."
The full lineup of performers and artists can be found on the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust's website. The festival is free and open to everyone.

Ana Bárbara, Adriel Favela & Horacio Palencia Hope ‘Pase a la Fama' Gives Mexican Music ‘A Different Level of Visibility'
Pase a la Fama, Telemundo's new television series, is set to premiere on Sunday, June 8 featuring a star-studded panel of judges — Ana Bárbara, Adriel Favela and Horacio Palencia — and original music produced by Latin Grammy-winning hitmaker Edgar Barrera. During the show, participants will compete in a bootcamp-like setting where they will 'train, perform and face challenges,' according to a press statement, vying for a $100,000 prize, a record deal with HYBE Latin America and crowned the next regional Mexican band, which will comprised of five participants. 'I personally feel moved, excited, thrilled and I think it will be a great project.' The judges will be meticulous about who they choose as finalists. They must have 'discipline and respect for the audience and us as judges, all of those are ingredients that for me are very, very important,' Palencia says. 'In fact, I tell the new generation that, for me, discipline is actually even more important than talent, because sometimes it doesn't matter to have talent if you don't have discipline.' So, what were the main qualities the judges looked for? 'It's a band and, at the end of the day, I believe that there are many components that contribute to what brings success to a career,' Palencia adds. 'The [right] attitude, preparation and how they accept more than just criticism, but the constructive advice we give them,' Palencia adds. 'I believe that the winning band will genuinely work towards achieving all of those characteristics.' The show is set to premiere at a time when some música mexicana artists are facing bans in Mexico (if they sing narcocorridos in certain public settings) or visa delays and revocations in the United States. 'I had no idea that all of this could happen, which is both delicate and strong, yet sensitive, and definitely very sad,' Ana Bárbara says. 'Because it affects all of us in some way, it has an impact. We all admire the music of someone who is having problems for various reasons, beyond whatever the reason may be. This show will provide [Mexican] music with a different level of visibility.' The judges will also focus on emphasizing 'clean song lyrics and about love stories,' Favela says. 'It is nice to realize that music is giving us a chance to go beyond the musical aspect. To see our individual values, to see young people singing themes that, nowadays, I dare to say, are being lost, perhaps more and more. And that there is validity in rescuing all of this, which at the end of the day is the pure root of our Mexican essence.' It was previously announced that Lupillo Rivera, Fuerza Regida's JOP and Gabito Ballestero's will join the show as mentors. The first episode of Pase a la Fama will premiere Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Telemundo. Everything ROSÉ, LISA, JENNIE & JISOO Have Said About BLACKPINK's Upcoming Reunion
Over the past two-ish years, BLINKs have definitely missed seeing their favorite lovesick girls together. But this summer, the ladies of BLACKPINK will finally be a unit once more, with ROSÉ, LISA, JENNIE and JISOO set to return with a world tour and new music after taking time off to pursue solo projects. More from Billboard Beyoncé Effortlessly Handles a Wardrobe Mishap During Her Cowboy Carter London Show Ana Bárbara, Adriel Favela & Horacio Palencia Hope 'Pase a la Fama' Gives Mexican Music 'A Different Level of Visibility' The Funeral Portrait Nabs Second Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1 With 'Holy Water' And, much like their fans, the foursome has been open about their excitement surrounding their pending comeback. Though details of just how and when it would happen remained hazy for many months during their time apart, it was finally announced in February that BLACKPINK would hit the road as a band for the first time since 2022-2023's Born Pink World Tour, embarking on a run of stadium dates kicking off July 5 in Goyang, South Korea. As that first show has gotten closer, a couple of the women have also dropped hints about new music in the works, with the K-pop girl group last releasing an album — Billboard 200-topper Born Pink — in October 2022. But, despite their eagerness to get back together, the BLACKPINK members have also talked about how important it was for each of them to take time for themselves. During which, ROSÉ, LISA and JENNIE all released debut solo albums — Rosie, Alter Ego and Ruby, respectively — each climbing to the top 10 of the Billboard 200, while JISOO dropped a solo EP titled Amortage and focused on acting projects. As a result, each member has something new to bring to their group dynamic, and fans will finally get to see that in action very soon. While we wait for the big day, keep reading to see everything the foursome has said about reuniting — from getting back in the studio together to joining forces on stage again — below. In her Billboard cover story, Lisa told writer Nolan Feeney that she's basically counting down the days until she gets to work with her bandmates again. 'I can't wait,' she said at the time. 'We know each other so well and know how much energy we have to put into every single project,' she continued. 'So we want to support and say, 'You did really well!' Like, JENNIE and Rosie just released their own songs, and we're on texts, we're on FaceTime. They're like family. I'm just so happy that they're releasing something. This is what we all wanted to do, so I just wanted to say that I really do love their songs.' In a candid conversation with Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe, ROSÉ said that she felt a lot of 'pressure' on making their time apart count. 'As BLACKPINK, as mature as we are, we got together and decided, 'Let's promise ourselves a good year to be inspired,'' she explained. 'The first thing that happened was anxiety, because I was privileged to have this one year in my hands to do whatever I wanted with it, but I wanted it to be the right decision and it had to feel right …,' she continued. 'What if I don't believe in my thing? And what if I'm in a place where I'm having to do things that I don't feel like it's me?' Noting that she and her bandmates are always in touch via group chat, JENNIE told Billboard deputy editor Lyndsey Havens in her January 2025 cover story that she's 'missed the girls.' 'I've missed doing tours with them. I miss our silly moments,' she elaborated. 'I'm excited to see what everyone brings. You know, everyone took their own journey [during] this time, and I'm excited to share that with the girls. I want to say it's going to be the most powerful [versions] of ourselves that anyone has seen.' Speaking to Billboard to celebrate the release of Amortage, JISOO said that she and her bandmates were in communication about their hopes for their reunion. 'Last year, as each member focused on individual activities, we all grew a lot,' she said at the time. 'Now, as we come together for this year, I feel like we'll be able to return with an even bigger and more spectacular presence.' 'Everyone's excited about it, and we've been sharing ideas,' she added. 'We've already done a lot of preparations for this year.' In an interview with The Cut, ROSÉ laid out her band's musical plans plainly: 'We will be coming out with new music soon,' she told the publication. 'We just knew there was no reason for us to stop it, right?' the 'APT.' singer added. 'As much as we all needed some time to go out and explore and be our own people, we still have business left to do. We've got to do some more damage.' When pressed for BLACKPINK tour spoilers during an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, JENNIE was tight-lipped. 'I can't say anything!' she said before confessing, 'There's still so much to do for us to make this happen.' 'It's coming — it's coming, guys,' added the star. In an interview with Variety, LISA revealed that she and her bandmates had been 'in the studio a few days ago,' noting, 'We're all so super excited to get back together and go on tour.' 'We really miss the BLINKs,' added the White Lotus star. 'We can't wait to see them.' Yolanda Hadid ends engagement to Joseph Jingoli after ex-husband's secret daughter is revealed
It's over for Yolanda Hadid and Joseph Jingoli. The former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star, 61, and her longtime boyfriend quietly ended their engagement in January, a source told People on Thursday, June 5. However, the exes allegedly have no bad blood toward each other. 'They remain friends and have nothing but fond memories of their time together,' the insider said. The Post reached out to Hadid for comment but did not immediately hear back. The reality star alum, who is mother to supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, met Jingoli after she uprooted her life to Pennsylvania in 2017. Jingoli, who is the CEO of a construction and development company, popped the question in 2022 while the pair were away in Holland. They kept their engagement private until August 2024, when Hadid casually called him her 'fiancé' in her interview with Architectural Digest. 'I made a love spiral and wrote down exactly everything that was important to me in a man and he magically just rang the doorbell at the farm,' she told People in 2018. The pair first stepped out together in September 2019. Hadid also gushed over Jingoli in a tribute post for their anniversary in January 2021. ' All my life I prayed for someone like you!!' Hadid wrote alongside photos of them together. 'Thank you for being such a bright light in my life, the calm in my storm and for being the most honorable man that I know…. Happy 2 year anniversary Joey Jingoli, I love and appreciate you .' Hadid was previously married to Grammy-award-winning producer David Foster from 2011 to 2017. Her first husband was luxury real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, 76, with whom she shares three children: Gigi, 30, Bella, 28, and son Anwar, 25. While Hadid only has three children, Mohamed has six — one of whom the world just discovered. Gigi and Bella have a half sister named Aydan Nix, and revealed the shocking family secret just last week. Nix is 23 and the result of their father's 'brief romance' with a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull, which happened shortly after his 2001 divorce from Yolanda, according to the sisters. 'Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy,' Gigi and Bella told the Daily Mail in a statement on May 29. Gigi and Bella explained that Nix was unaware that Mohamed was her father until recently. She discovered the news after the man she always knew as dad's 'sudden passing when she was 19.' The Hadid sisters explained that Nix 'decided to take a genetic test out of curiosity,' which led to the shocking discovery that she had 'a biological connection' to the famous family. But the girls welcomed her with open arms, allegedly first meeting Nix in Paris when she was studying abroad in 2024. 'We've cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family,' Gigi and Bella continued, adding they are hoping everyone respects their half sister's privacy. 'As siblings, we've had many open and loving conversations — with Aydan included — about how to support and protect her,' they shared. 'Aydan and her family value their privacy, and we fully respect that. We kindly ask others to do the same and honor her wish and right to her anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York.' Besides Gigi, Bella, Anwar and now Nix, Mohamed is also a father to his oldest children — Marielle, 44, and Alana, 39, with his first wife, Mary Butler. Mohamed has not publicly acknowledged Nix as his daughter, but he does follow her on Instagram.
