Woman hospitalized after two-vehicle crash
Apr. 14—KENTON — A two-vehicle crash on High Street in Kenton sent one person to the hospital on the evening of Monday, April 7, according to a crash report handled by the Kenton Police Department.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:35 p.m. when Michael Hale, 33, was traveling southbound on South High Street. Rebecca Reed, 33, was attempting to enter northbound traffic from the curb but failed to see Hale approaching due to an obstructed view, according to the crash report.
Reed's 2016 Honda Civic pulled off the curb and onto the road and was struck on the front bumper by Hale's 2008 Ford F-150. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage to the front ends.
According to the crash report, Reed was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for suspected injuries.
