Cloudy skies expected to stick around: A look at weather this week
Stretches of white skies have spread across the South Sound area today, and they will linger for a while longer.
The National Weather Service told The News Tribune on Saturday that residents can expect cloudy skies with a chance for showers through Monday.
According to the NWS forecast, temperatures are expected to stay relatively stable in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be partly sunny, with clouds returning on Friday.

Apply Valley residents issued evacuation orders for Ranch Fire
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department issued an evacuation order for residents near the Ranch Fire in Apple Valley. The vegetation fire sparked at roughly 1:45 p.m. near Bowen Ranch Road. The evacuation order applies to residents in the area from Milpas Drive to High Road, south of Highway 18. Deputies released a map of the evacuation area. Grass fire shuts down eastbound Highway 50 in Placerville
PLACERVILLE — Eastbound Highway 50 in Placerville has been shut down late Tuesday afternoon due to a grass fire. California Highway Patrol's Placerville division said the highway closure shouldn't be lifted soon, as firefighters were making great progress on what is being called the Point Fire.
