E-WIN Champion Upgraded Series Chair Review

Yahoo29-03-2025

When selecting furniture, I freeze, considering the sheer number of options available. This has become readily apparent in anything gaming-related. Everyday, new peripherals spawn to make gaming a better place for those who spend countless hours at the helm, and when it comes to gaming chairs, that number feels endless with the number of products currently being sold.
This is where E-WIN brings out their flagship throne, the E-WIN Champion Upgraded Series Gaming Office Chair. The E-WIN Champion Upgraded Series comes with everything a gamer could need to slog through the hardest of raids, lay back for a nap, and anything in between.
First things first, unboxing the E-WIN Champion was an easy experience, and E-WIN has neat packaging that assures each piece will come protected. Most of the parts have already been fully assembled, and E-WIN includes all the pieces and a large set of instructions (including a video) on their website for holding your hand through the assembly process. Normally, when building furniture, I need this to guide me through the process. Luckily, E-WIN is there every step of the way, proving that they, too, can use the Geico commercial made famous by cavemen with their expert instructions. It's that easy.
The E-WIN Champion Upgraded Series Gaming Office Chair can be easily assembled with one person, making it a cinch to unbox and play easily. The assembly went as smoothly as possible. None of the screws, tools, or DIY steps had any hiccups during assembly (like lousily threaded bolts that go in diagonally), and once the E-WIN Champion is whole, the user can take the throne.
While my initial impression of the E-WIN Champion was in a box, when it is all together, it's clear that E-WIN brought style and comfort to the gaming chair equation. There are inseam diamonds with inlaid red stitching, adding minute details to the upholstery on the chair. My unit was the red and black version, but potential consumers can snag the black with gold lettering version, or the same chair but in what I would call the Player 2 (blue) colourway. E-WIN deserves credit for providing a wider-than-normal seat base so a smaller user can comfortably sit cross-legged without bruising their knees on the armrest.
Unlike my previous gaming chair, the E-WIN Champion is a firmer option than plush, and I dig it. There's virtually no collapse inward of the seat cushion when mounting the chair, but it still morphs to the user's body. I had a friend who weighs roughly 350 lbs and is 6'5 to try out the Champion to see if it was true to its name, and it worked as intended. Another win for E-WIN.
There are two knobs on either side of the chair to adjust lumbar support. At first, I thought this was just another gimmick to show the E-WIN Champion 'just does something else,' but after using both sides, I get it. The left side knob adjusts lumbar support height, and the right knob adjusts how much curvature there is to force the sitter into good posture. This is another win.
I always find myself slumped down into a chair after moments of sitting due to the weight of gravity and life shoving my spine into a broken accordion orientation, and the E-WIN comes as a worried parent would demanding you to straighten up. Lumbar support with hidden adjusters is a game-changing feature.
The E-WIN Champion comes with two companion pillows, adding another layer of comfort to sitting. The headrest pillow has a magnet built-in, so it will always stick to the head position of the chair, and there's an included lumbar pillow that floats around the seat area intended to provide even more comfort. The head pillow is a huge addition and feels great when the lumbar support forces your head into the right spot, but the included lumbar pillow is best used as a lap comfort pillow when sitting cross-legged or using the built-in lumbar support.
E-WIN added one last thing to put the belt around the waist of their Champion and it's a reclining lever. While all gaming chairs come with lift levers tucked away underneath (the E-WIN Champion is no exception), E-WIN installed a reclining lever (placed on the right-handed side) that can almost lay the user flat just in case a particular raid death march puts you to sleep.
Adjusting and returning the recline is equally as simple, with just a tug on the lever to return it to the upright seated position and a pull-and-lean to set it back to a half-lay. Even while laying almost completely horizontal, the E-WIN Champion stubbornly kept its wheels glued to the ground without any lean. E-WIN thought of virtually everything a gaming/office chair could have and just threw it in.
There are a few notable shortcomings regarding the E-WIN Champion Upgraded Series Gaming Office Chair. The material on the chair's surface is made with 'innovative materials' that are temperature and pressure-sensitive. This works well, allowing the user to remain dry during the sweatiest gaming affairs. However, the material is not entirely friendly to the skin. I never knew a gaming chair could exist that suggests 'must wear this much clothes to ride.' While wearing shorts (with a 6' inseam), the small area where skin-meets-chair can stick to the surface. Aside from the sticky feel, the levers placed underneath the chair for lifting the seat feel cheap.
My last issue (and this could be a problem reserved for me) with the E-WIN Champion is the included magnetized armrest covers. Often, I'll lift my elbow and knock one clean off the chair, slightly rubbing against the underlying plastic. While this is no Iron Throne from Westeros, I usually must be cognizant of where my arms are so I don't rub elbows with the Champion.
The E-WIN Champion Upgraded Series Gaming Office Chair is a great upgrade to a user's battle station. It does almost everything a user can require out of a chair and looks good. Features like reclining and lumbar support are innovative and easy to use, while the assembly process is genuinely so easy anyone can do it. The main issue I have with the E-WIN Champion is the seat material, which feels like a small under-sight in the grand scheme of things. All in all, if someone needs an upgrade for their gaming setup, the E-WIN Champion can be a safe upgrade, provided the user has the funds.

Engineers unveil radical new freight system that could make diesel trucks obsolete: 'Almost like a mini-airline'

A team of engineers from the University of New South Wales is developing a fleet of drones that can deliver vital supplies to remote areas of Australia. The all-electric fleet would produce zero emissions and be a game-changer for both the population of these remote areas and the environment at large. Countries like Australia have vast swaths of remote land. The population of these remote areas depends on diesel trucks for the delivery of vital materials such as food and medicine. But the emissions from those long deliveries can be detrimental to both the environment and the humans they are serving. Diesel trucks are one of the largest sources of emissions around the globe, contributing to human respiratory illnesses such as asthma and lung disease. They are also detrimental to the environment, as they can degrade crops and soil as well as produce acid rain. To top it all off, they contribute mightily to warming temperatures around the globe. The project is a collaboration between a company called Seaflight Technologies and Macquarie University. Together, they are developing the AURA-E, an electric drone designed for long-range, heavy cargo transport. The ultimate goal of the program is to create a drone that can carry 440-660 pounds over hundreds of kilometers. The leaders of the program believe its benefits will go beyond efficiency and being better for the environment. It should also be a significant source of job growth in the region. This is because the operation of a fleet of drones will require a new generation of aviation professionals and entrepreneurs. With that in mind, the government of Australia awarded the development team half of the program's $3 million budget. This is only the latest use of drone technology to benefit the environment. It has also been used to locate abandoned oil and gas wells. And they are increasingly being deployed to fight deadly and destructive wildfires before they can spread out of control. The heads of the program have big ideas about its potential scope. "If you imagine drones as being almost like a mini-airline, you could have hundreds or even thousands of flights per day," said Graham Doig, the founder of Seaflight Technologies. He was also understandably enthusiastic about the idea of replacing the dirty diesel trucks. "You can start talking about resupplying a community with medical supplies or fresh fruit and vegetables that otherwise would have come from the other side of the country in a diesel-spewing truck. We're taking that off the road, and we're replacing it with near-zero emissions technology that can provide people with goods they need the next day." Originally appeared on E! Online Sydney Sweeney is soaping up the attention. The Anyone But You star recently made waves—literally—when she announced a partnership with Dr. Squatch for a limited-edition line of bar soaps that include an unusual, key ingredient: her actual bathwater. And in the time since, the collab has made quite the splash online. 'I think it's more fun to see everyone else talk about it,' Sydney admitted to E! Bill Maher explains how Trump and Musk went from ‘Brangelina' to ‘Godzilla vs. King Kong'

The fiery feud between President Trump and Elon Musk is the most exciting public breakup since the days of Brangelina, according to Bill Maher. The late-night comedian compared the public warfare and vitriol to that of 'Godzilla vs. King Kong if Godzilla was on ketamine and King Kong had a combover.' The big beautiful break-up is even more shocking because Trump and Musk were 'so close,' like celebrity couples Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie, and Ben Affleck and Jen Lopez, whose seemingly strong but ultimately whirlwind romances gripped tabloids for decades. Advertisement 3 Bill Maher compared President Trump to King Kong if he 'had a combover.' AFP via Getty Images 'They had their own couple name: E-lump,' Maher said. But like the actor pairings, the Musk and Trump demise was a long time coming, he continued. Advertisement 'I can't really think of anything other than the Trump-Elon [fight],' Maher said in his opening monologue Frday for HBO's 'Real Time.' The talk host did a brief rundown of the pair's political breakdown, pinpointing the potential beginning of the end to Trump's meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in the Oval Office last week when Musk showed up sporting a black eye. 3 The feud started when Elon Musk declined Trump's offer to borrow makeup, according to Maher. Getty Images The President claimed he offered makeup to the former Department of Government Efficiency head, but was turned down, which he found 'interesting.' Advertisement 'Yeah, weird, Elon, what sort of man turns down makeup?' Maher chided. The feud slowly simmered as the pair lobbed further accusations against one another, including Musk claiming Trump's tariffs would cause a recession and the President responding that no one wants to buy Tesla's electric vehicles — but 's–t got real' when Musk claimed he was the reason Trump won the election. 3 Trump and Musk had their own couple name, Maher aid: 'E-lump.' MAX 'And Trump said, 'Well, you know what Mars is a s–thole planet.' And Musk said, 'Oh my god, you are not the same man I used to heil,'' Maher said. Advertisement The fighting has only grown worse in recent days, with Musk shockingly claiming on X that Trump's involvement in the Epstein files is the reason they haven't been released. Musk has since deleted the X post. Trump, on the other hand, has tried to play it cool, saying he hasn't given much thought to his former 'First Buddy.' 'The stakes are so high because the winner faces Blake Lively,' Maher joked, referencing the recent public downfall of the actress's previously beloved image. Any good feeling between the two men is likely gone after Musk stepped up his criticism of the Trump-backed 'Big, Beautiful Bill' — and then called for the impeachment of the president and a new political party to challenge the GOP.
