Pregnant Joss Stone says she'll become mother to 'Irish twins' when she gives birth
Singer Joss Stone has revealed she'll be mother to 'Irish twins' when she gives birth to her fourth child in June.
The Super Duper Love singer, 38, welcomed son Bear via adoption at the end of last year and announced she was pregnant soon after - and is now set to experience the rare parenting phenomenon when she welcomes the new baby.
Stone also has Violet, three, and Shackleton, two, with the former US Marine Cody DaLuz and has previously revealed she wanted to eventually have 'seven kids '.
Irish twins refers to when two siblings are born within a year of each other.
The British singer told her 786,000 followers on Instagram 'Baby is coming in 26 days!!!! Eeek. So excited. Irish twins incoming.'
She added: 'Slightly nervous about the way babe is turning up but I've done it before I'll do it again. I'm just suuuuuper ready now.'
Taking to Instagram just before Christmas, Joss - whose real name is Joscelyn Eve Stoker - revealed she was 'shocked' after discovering that she was expecting again after the couple had recently become parents to Bear.
The singer officially adopted Bear when when he was just a month old and weighed just 4lbs 12oz - with the couple keeping him indoors during the early months of his life because of premature lungs.
The parents, who are now based in Nashville, Tennessee, met in 2020 after Joss fled the UK amid terrifying kidnap plot, with two men - Kevin Liverpool and Junior Bradshaw - convicted of planning to murder the star at her rural east Devon home.
They would go on to secretly marry before starting their ever expanding family.
In 2023, Joss revealed she and Cody, 34, had started the adoption process to expand their brood.
Joss told HELLO! magazine of the adoption process: 'We're trying to do our home study. I hope we get to do it. I want, like, 25 kids.'
Cody was adopted himself and Stone has previously spoken to her fans on social media about why the pair were keen to adopt a child of their own.
She said: 'The reason why Cody even exists is because his bio mum loved him enough to make an adoption plan for him and the same goes for Bear.
'Honestly bio mothers do not get the gratitude they deserve. It is a more selfless love than I knew existed. Truly. We are just so happy to be part of this beautiful cycle.'
Last year, Joss revealed she is hoping to move back to Devon from her current base in Nashville in time for her kids starting school because she wants them to enjoy a similar upbringing to her own.
She told the Sunday Times magazine: 'We'll move home to Devon in time for Violet to go to school. I want my kids to have the kind of upbringing I did — riding horses, climbing trees and being near my family. I hope Cody likes it over there.'
The You Had Me singer enjoys a 'slower' pace of life now she's a parent and she's thankful having children has given her an 'excuse' to ease her busy schedule.
She said: 'Having kids makes you go slower. It's given me this wonderful excuse not to cram my schedule. Touring is different now...
'We always go by bus and travel at night, when the kids are asleep. I don't know how it's going to go with two of them because Cody's working as well. We don't want to enlist help but we might have to.'

Business is buzzing for couple behind revival kits that rescue bees in need... while Wimbledon serves up an ace rival to strawberries with its very own honey
Summer gives people an excuse to show off their latest hat, handbag or sandals – but a new must-have accessory is creating a different kind of buzz. A bee revival kit, designed to help tired, floundering insects, is driving a craze that sees the public giving them a helping hand. The £11.99 kit, right, consists of a keyring containing a syrup to 'feed a bee in need' – the exhausted creatures often seen struggling in the grass or on the pavement. The firm behind the concept, Beevive, consists of Faye Whitley and Jacob Powell, who appeared on Dragons' Den this year. It was a hit with entrepreneur Deborah Meaden, who offered her support. While the couple used to celebrate selling a dozen keyrings at an event, they now sell 'a few thousand' a week, with 130,000 snapped up in total. They secured a sought-after stall at the Chelsea Flower Show this year. Ms Whitely said: 'It all started when Jake took me away for my birthday to Cornwall. We were out exploring and came across this tired bumblebee, and she looked really sad. She was hardly moving and we couldn't just leave her. 'We couldn't find a flower so we ended up taking her to a cafe and asking for some sugared water. 'We all gathered outside with this bee, fed her a few drops and she cleaned herself up, warmed her wings and flew away.' Ms Whitely said 'it was the most heart-warming feeling', and realised there was a need for something people can carry around with them. She added: 'We did loads of research into bees and how they're in decline, and so we invented the bee revival kit.' A few drops of the 'nectar' water next to a flagging bee will give it the energy to continue on its flight and carry on pollinating plants. 'It's just a little pick-me-up. Bees can't fly for 40 minutes without starving,' Ms Whitely added. Some 13 bee species have been lost in the UK, with 35 at risk of extinction. The main cause is intensive farming, plus threats from habitat loss, climate change, pests and disease and invasive species. The couple also sell bee 'hotels', kits that provide a safe space for female solitary bees to build nests and lay their eggs. Wimbledon officials are hoping honey will rival strawberries and cream at this year's championships. Ticket holders will be offered free jars of the honey from stalls across the ground. An SW19 source said: 'Wimbledon is famous for its strawberries and cream, but this year we wanted to create a buzz with honey made by our own bees. We think our bees will live up to the high standards we set ourselves.' The honey is made at six hives – three at Wimbledon's main complex and three in nearby Raynes Park. As this is a trial run, the honey available will be limited, but there are plans to roll out production if it proves successful. The source said: 'We hope our honey will one day become a similar staple to the strawberries and cream.'
