His Highness Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has affirmed that the paths of joint development between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom enjoy mutual interest and that both nations are working to enhance them towards more advanced levels. He made these remarks during a meeting with Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, the United Kingdom's Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, at Riffa Palace on Monday.
Building stronger ties
HH Shaikh Isa reiterated the historical depth of Bahrain-UK relations, stressing the importance of expanding cooperation across multiple sectors, particularly in the fields of defence and security. He highlighted the role of the UK and its allies in promoting international peace and stability, describing these partnerships as essential to regional security.

Mr. Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs. HRH Prince Salman praised Ambassador Hach's dedicated efforts in expanding bilateral cooperation across various fields, emphasizing Bahrain's commitment to exploring broader horizons in its partnership with Germany. He conveyed his appreciation to the ambassador for his role in fostering closer ties and wished him success in his future endeavors. Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised the Joint Business Council for enhancing bilateral coordination in investment and economic fields, citing its critical role in driving shared development objectives between the two Gulf neighbours. Strategic backing HRH affirmed that the long-standing Bahrain-Saudi partnership continues to be strengthened through the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The meeting also underscored the strategic backing of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, who supports efforts to fortify regional cooperation and joint investment initiatives. HRH Prince Salman highlighted the pivotal role of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council in aligning economic priorities and furthering the mutual interests of both nations. H.E.
