Yemenis welcome Ramadan With insistence to continue steadfastness, confront repercussions of aggression, siege

Sana'a - Saba:
Muslims in the East and West celebrate the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and welcome it with great joy in a spiritual atmosphere that bestows reassurance and humility upon souls before God Almighty.
Yemenis welcome the holy month, for the tenth year in a row, with unparalleled determination to continue steadfastness and perseverance and confront the challenges and difficult circumstances they suffer as a result of the repercussions of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and siege.
In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions imposed by the aggression and siege, and the evasion of international humanitarian organizations from carrying out their responsibilities, the values of giving and sacrifice are manifested in their most beautiful forms among Yemenis, by reviving social solidarity, cooperation and altruism.
In this holy month, there are many forms of solidarity and cohesion based on the teachings of the true Islamic religion, which have established the values of compassion among members of society through cooperation, charity, and helping the needy, as stated in the hadith of the Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, 'The believers in their love, compassion, and sympathy for one another are like one body: if one part of it is ill, the rest of the body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.'
The concept of solidarity is manifested in the month of Ramadan through practical acts of worship that include giving charity, spending in the way of God, and comforting the poor, considering that these acts are not just rituals, but rather the essence of the religion that builds the Muslim society like a solid structure.
Scholars confirm that the month of Ramadan is a great occasion and a great school of faith to promote the values of goodness, tolerance and solidarity among Muslims, and to spread the spirit of love, brotherhood, sympathy, compassion and compliance with the values of truth, goodness and justice and to elevate them above the fleeting purposes of this world. It is also necessary for believers in Ramadan and other times to be pure of heart from rancor, hatred and arrogance and not to be arrogant towards people, and to feel shortcomings and to constantly hold themselves accountable, and to be reassured in worship.
Among the things that the Chosen One, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, urged us to do in the holy month is to check on the conditions of the poor, the needy and the destitute, and to show compassion and contribute to alleviating the suffering of needy families, as he used to do, may God bless him and grant him peace, as he was the most generous of people, and he was most generous in Ramadan, and he was more generous with goodness than the blowing wind.
The models of goodness and giving are many in Yemen to alleviate human suffering, through contributing to relief and charitable works and supporting and encouraging charitable and community initiatives.
Extensive preparations to receive the holy month, in the capital Sana'a and the governorates, and preparation and readiness for the Ramadan program to strengthen the connection with the Holy Quran and Allah's guidance, and to consolidate the faith identity and Quranic culture.
At the official level, the general guidelines for the Ramadan program plan project and the nature of the tasks and activities that will be implemented by all ministries, government units and local authorities in the capital and governorates were approved, to consolidate the faith identity among society and enhance the works of righteousness and charity and inspect the conditions of the poor and needy.
The importance of the Ramadan program lies in intensifying religious awareness about the holy month, enhancing the role of mosques in reviving the spirit of faith and jihad to confront the challenges facing the nation and raising awareness of the danger of the enemy lurking in it, confronting the soft war targeting the Yemeni faith identity, and emphasizing the continuation of awareness and activities related to public hygiene during the month of Ramadan and implementing effective tasks and activities that achieve faith, national and social goals.
Intensive activities were implemented during the past days in the capital and governorates as part of the preparation for the Ramadan program through meetings, organizing seminars and events, in preparation for the holy month, and urging scholars, preachers and guides to play their role in reminding society of what the holy month represents as an opportunity to increase acts of obedience, restore rights and grievances, solidarity and compassion, help the needy and double efforts to enlighten people about the conspiracies surrounding the nation.
One of the blessings of the holy month is that it is the month of patience and jihad for the sake of Allah, making sacrifices and achieving victories. The victory of Muslims in the two battles of the Battle of Badr and the Conquest of Mecca is nothing but one of the heroic Islamic epics, the timing of which in Ramadan was not a programmed plan drawn up by human hands, but rather the will of Allah Almighty, which combined the sanctity of the month with the majesty of victory.
The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, said in a speech welcoming the holy month of Ramadan last year, "One of the most important things about the month of Ramadan is that it is not only for acts of worship on the spiritual level, voluntary acts, and others, but it is one of the most important seasons for jihad in the way of Allah, and the reward of jihad in the holy month is beyond what a person can imagine."
He points out that "jihad in the month of Ramadan was not a holiday, and that is why the Battle of Badr the Great was a decisive factor between Islam and the tyrant, and the conquest of Mecca was at a time when Allah imposed fasting, and it was a historic achievement and a major change in the reality of the nation."
The Leader urged taking advantage of the month of Ramadan to prepare oneself mentally and psychologically, draw closer to Allah, get rid of sins, stock up on the values of charity and giving, comfort the poor and needy, maintain family ties, and pay zakat.
Despite what the Yemenis have been suffering for ten years due to aggression and siege, they are striving for sustainable development and achieving food security and self-sufficiency in various fields, in defiance of the forces of global hegemony and arrogance "America, Israel and Britain" and their plans that they are weaving with their tools to undermine Yemen and the Yemenis.

Hodeida: Armed tribal rally in al-Munirah declares general mobilization against enemy

Hodeida - Saba: The residents of al-Sahel district in al-Munirah district of Hodeida governorate on Wednesday staged an armed tribal rally. Participants declared general mobilization and affirmed their readiness to confront the Zionist aggression, while also denouncing traitors and agents. During the rally, attendees chanted slogans emphasizing their readiness to implement the leadership's directives within the framework of the comprehensive battle against the forces of arrogance. The attendees stressed that the current situation demands courageous and uncompromising stances. The participants highlighted that the massacres and acts of genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people necessitate a firm, religious, and popular stance that embodies the unity of the Islamic position regarding the nation's foremost cause. They asserted that the people of the coastal enclave, like other free Yemenis, are prepared to continue on the path of "jihad" and sacrifice everything they possess in the battle against the "Zionist entity" until every inch of Palestine is liberated. The rally participants reiterated that the Yemeni people will not abandon Palestine and will remain faithful to their covenant until the occupation is expelled. They further emphasized that "silence is treason" and that "the gun is the language of dignity." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)

Eid al-Adha distribution project for families of martyrs, missing persons in Amran launched

Amran – Saba: Amran governorate branch of the Martyrs' Families Care Foundation on Wednesday launched its Eid al-Adha distribution project, targeting the most impoverished families of martyrs and missing persons. At the launch, governor Dr. Faisal Juma'an stated that distributing sacrificial animals to these families embodies loyalty to their sacrifices in defending Yemen, its sovereignty, and independence. He described this initiative as the least that could be offered to the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifices in confronting the "aggression" and thwarting its plans. The governor urged all to show solidarity, compassion, and assist poor and needy families, especially those of martyrs. He acknowledged that the Martyrs' Families Care Foundation and the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families cannot meet all needs, particularly under the current circumstances caused by the US-Zionist aggression and blockade. Ibrahim al-Nunu, Director of the Martyrs Care Authority branch in the governorate, explained that the project involves distributing sacrificial animals to over 1,500 families, with support from the foundation and the governorate's leadership. He praised the governorate's leadership for their commitment to supporting the efforts of the foundation's and authority's branches. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
