Rs 25 lakh financial aid given to martyred soldier's kin
Kalli Tanda: Jana Sena Party has fulfilled the promise made by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan by providing Rs 25 lakh financial assistance to the family of Murali Naik, the soldier who attained martyrdom in the India-Pakistan conflict while serving the nation.
The financial aid was handed over in the form of a cheque by Janasena MLAs Arani Srinivasulu (Tirupati) and Nimmala Jayakrishna (Palakonda), accompanied by Ahuda Chairman TC Varun, former minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy, and other senior Janasena leaders.
The delegation visited Kalli Tanda village in Gorantla Mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district, the native place of the martyr, and paid floral tributes at Murali Naik's portrait.
During the visit, the leaders personally handed over the cheque to Murali's parents, Jyothibai and Sriram Naik, and inquired about their well-being. They assured them that the coalition government stands firmly with their family and that they would have the opportunity to meet Pawan Kalyan in person soon.
'The entire nation is indebted to families like Murali Naik's who raise brave son that lay down his live for the country,' said the MLAs, adding that Murali's sacrifice has made the country proud.

Highlighting the economy's growth under PM Modi, HM Shah said, "By 2027, the country will become the third largest economy. When PM Modi took charge, our economy was the 11 largest." HM Shah also highlighted PM Modi's vision for impartial social upliftment and said in the last 11 years, 25 crore people have emerged from poverty, crores of people have got cooking gas cylinders, free ration, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh, and farmers have started getting Rs 6,000 every year. Targeting the previous Samajwadi Party-led government in the state, the Home Minister said that before 2017, the law and order situation in UP was deteriorating steadily, but under the BJP government led by Yogi Adityanath, the state police has returned to the track of improvement and revival. Today, under CM Adityanath, goons don't call the shots and criminals don't enjoy any VIP treatment, he said, referring to the alleged lawlessness in the state under the previous Samajwadi Party government. Pointing to the hurdles created by the SP government in police reforms, he said, "During the first three years of PM Modi's government, the state police did not benefit from efforts for improvement." HM Shah also hit out at the SP government for corruption in recruitment, saying the current hiring of 60,244 constables in UP Police has been done without any 'Kharchi-Parchi' and only on the basis of merit. "Earlier, recruitments used to take place on a caste basis, but not anymore. The current hiring has been done transparently," he said, expressing satisfaction over the appointment of 12,048 women as constables.

Centre approves Rs 307.96 cr Keskal Bypass to boost connectivity in Bastar region
RAIPUR: The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved the construction of an 11.38-kilometre four-lane Keskal Bypass in Chhattisgarh's Kondagaon district. The project is estimated to cost Rs 307.96 crore and aims to improve road connectivity to the tribal Bastar region. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the development on social media. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed gratitude for the approval. Chief Minister Sai stated the bypass will ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted travel by removing traffic bottlenecks in the Keskal valley section.
