Woman in Fond du Lac County found guilty of trafficking daughter; sentencing pending co-defendant's trial
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A 34-year-old woman in the U.S. illegally has been found guilty of multiple charges connected to the trafficking and sexual assault of her own daughter.
Elia Antonio pled guilty on May 12 to trafficking a child, failure to act to prevent sexual assault of a child, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Her sentencing will be scheduled following the trial of her co-defendant, 32-year-old Juan Carlos Rocha Mejia, who is also reportedly in the U.S. illegally.
