Since the late 1990s, a Nissan 240SX barn find was kept in a literal barn without any care or attention paid to it. That's right, we once again have a barn find car that isn't in a garage, warehouse, or field, but in a real deal barn.What's even more mind blowing is the son-in-law of the guy who owns the car says it was parked there before he was born 'for absolutely no reason.' Usually, a barn find is left and forgotten because it broke big time, like the engine or transmission blew up, and the owner procrastinated fixing it. But this little Nissan was apparently running and driving when it was just parked.
It doesn't help that the portion of the barn it was left in is open to the outside. Not only does the thing wear a thick coating of magical barn find dust which instantly increases the value of some cars, it is covered in leaves and twigs. In a way it's like a barn find and field find rolled into one.
Thankfully, the 240SX is in good hands with WD Detailing coming to give it the full treatment. The shop does these YouTube deals where they will fully detail a car for free if they can make a video about it. So far, we've only see one person act ungrateful for such a service.
Just learning the color of the Nissan is a surprise because it's so thickly coated in gunk. But once they get it in the shop and starting washing away the dirt, a beautiful coat of gray paint is revealed. What's even more amazing is the 240SX is entirely stock.
We know a lot of younger kids who have watched this detail think the Nissan would be fun to install one of those annoying cat-back systems, some dumb wing, maybe a giant turbo system, then go attend a foolish street takeover event where they can destroy the tires (well, new ones, because the original ones have serious dry rot).
We think this thing should be kept original and put in a museum so we can all remember when Nissan used to make cheap, fun cars.

Nissan's global sales fall by 7% in April
Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Company reported a 7.2% year-on-year fall in global sales to 225,729 vehicles in April 2025, including Nissan and Infiniti branded models, with domestic and overseas volumes both weaker. Sales in Japan plunged by 19% to 24,348 units last month while overseas deliveries dropped by 7.2% to 201,381 units. In the first four months of 2025, global sales fell by 5.9% to 1,095,513 units from 1,163,646 in the same period last year, with sales in Japan dropping by over 11% to 157,649 units while overseas sales declined by almost 5% to 937,864 units. China was the worst-performing major overseas market year-to-date, with sales plunging by over 25% to 167,630 units, while sales in Europe fell by 4.9% to 132,822 units. Deliveries in North America rose by 3.3% to 465,569 units, including a 3.5% rise in US sales to 339,629 units, a 5.7% rise in sales in Mexico to 84,917 units, and an 8.1% rise in sales in Canada to 40,440 units. Sales in other markets combined fell by 4.4% to 171,843 units. In terms of production, global volumes dropped by 12.5% to 956,327 in the first four months of 2025, with output in Japan falling by over 11% to 201,902 units while overseas volumes dropped by 13% to 754,425 units – driven lower by a 26% plunge in Chinese output to 162,908 units and a 14% decline in UK output to 92,044 units, while production in Mexico rose by just 1% to 221,481 units. Exports from Japan fell by 14.4% to 113,220 units year-to-date, with shipments to North America plunging by 26.5% to 48,562 units while exports to Europe plunged by 31% to 12,048 units. This Dog Trainer Has an Incredible Fleet of Dog Vehicles
The latest car news, reviews, and features. Dogs are a big part of my family life. Only one lives in my house, but between my nearby in-laws, as many as nine canines are running around my yard on any given day. So when I stumbled on the WooFDriver YouTube channel, I was like, hell yeah. I've found my people. This guy has figured out how to exercise a pack of high-energy animals with delightful and wacky vehicles that they pull around roads and trails. I love it. The concept here is pretty simple: Man loves dogs, man is creative, cute adventures ensue. Basically, Bill Helman (the self-described 'WooFDriver') modifies pedal-power vehicles, mobility-assistance vehicles, and even some unusual ATVs to either walk multiple dogs simultaneously or use the dogs themselves as propulsion. It's like dogsledding but with bike wheels instead of skids. Many of the vehicles showcased have some kind of hybrid power, in that they use an electric boost or pedals to supplement the dogs' muscles. His website is loaded with an unbelievably wide range of designs and ideas. Seriously—you should check it out, it's a fun slice of old-school internet in the best kind of way. My sisters-in-law and I have figured out how to get them to look the same way to pose for photos in our dog-testing car reviews, now we'll just need to teach them to run the same way. A lot of the videos on this channel are outside the template of what you see on YouTube. I found Helman myself through a BBC article about 'the hidden world beneath the shadows of YouTube's algorithm.' There are songs, completely silent videos, and long single-shot sled-cam clips that most people probably won't be inclined to sit through. However, the series on the WooFDriver's 'Dog MotoSports' should be particularly interesting and enjoyable to any of you who appreciate shadetree mechanic'ing and industrial creativity. And, of course, cute canines. Here's another interesting one from a 'Dog Roading' video—the UTV makes it easy to walk four huskies at once! The Cheapest Car In America Gets Slightly Less Affordable
If you're looking to get into a new car for less than $20,000 in the U.S., your options are dwindling. The Nissan Versa, a subcompact sedan that was the cheapest new car in America for the 2025 model year, was the last new car available for less than twenty grand. Note the use of past tense there—Nissan has dropped the entry-level Versa model, which cost $18,330 and was the only version of the Versa with a five-speed manual transmission. 0:00 / 0:00 Now, the Versa overall isn't going away—yet—even though it's the last subcompact sedan available in America. (You might still find a new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 on a dealer lot somewhere, but that sedan stopped being built after the 2024 model year, leaving the Versa alone in its segment.) Nissan is keeping the entry-level Versa S sedan around, but only with the automatic transmission that added $1,800 to the MSRP, meaning the Versa now starts at $21,130. It remains by far the most affordable thing that isn't an SUV in 2025—the next-most-affordable car is also made by Nissan, the $22,730 one-size-up Sentra—but without the price-leader stick-shift version, it's not as far ahead of the cheapest SUVs (such as the $21,650 Hyundai Venue or $21,895 Chevrolet Trax) you can buy anymore. Why'd Nissan kill off its cheapest car? Unfortunately, in today's tariff-laden automotive landscape and Nissan's need to cut costs, the 2025 Versa S with the five-speed stick shift likely just wasn't selling well enough to justify its existence. This news was brought to our attention via the Autopian, and we confirmed the news with Nissan. The beleaguered automaker states: 'We remain committed to offering a line-up that answers the evolving needs of customers and maintains Nissan's competitive edge. We are focusing on the most popular Versa grades that deliver the strongest business performance and are in line with what customers are looking for from this type of sedan.' While the Nissan drops the three-pedal option from the Versa, we must stress that. the S still remains the cheapest new car in America. It also means that the cheapest new car in America no longer costs less than $20,000. Let that sink in.
