Universal Studios Hollywood Introduces New After-Hours Fan Fest Nights
Universal Studios Hollywood is expanding its roster of seasonal after-hours franchises with Universal Fan Fest Nights.
The new separately-ticketed event is designed to transport fans and guests into unique immersive in-world experiences distinct from those on offer during normal park hours.

Launching exclusively at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Fan Fest Nights comes from the creators of the park's popular Halloween Horror Nights creators. Universal Fan Fest Nights will feature all new, uniquely curated experiences inspired by sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and anime. Among the worlds from which the event will draw are those of Star Trek, Back to the Future, Dungeons & Dragons, One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. The celebration will include interactive activations throughout the theme park, including live entertainment, cosplay and photo opportunities. Additionally, theme park favorites The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World will offer special experiences and introduce new character and interactive elements during Fan Fest Nights.
Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural event which takes place April 25-27; May 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18, 2025.

STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS Reveals Groovy Characters Posters and Season Episode Titles
We are a mere month away from the season three premiere of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on Paramount+. And it's been a long wait for fans, as the 2023 Writer's Guild Strike halted production of the third season. This resulted in a two-year delay since the season two cliffhanger ending. But on July 17, Captain Pike and the Enterprise crew return at last for new adventures exploring the Final Frontier. Paramount+ has released a series of all-new character posters for the season spotlighting the bridge crew. You can check them all out in our gallery below: Click To View Gallery These images of the Strange New Worlds cast are very reminiscent of cover art for Star Trek novels of the '70's and '80s. Back then, fans had to wait years between movies, and watch endless reruns of the original series on TV. So the novels thrived, giving Trekkers their regular fix of new adventures. Were they canon? No, but fans ate them up anyway. And many of those novels had groovy painted covers by iconic fantasy/sci-fi artists like Boris Vallejo. These Strange New Worlds posters give us all the retro feels. Additionally, Paramount+ has also revealed the episode titles for all ten episodes of season three. 'The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail' appears to be Spock-centric, as a Sehlat was his pet on Vulcan as a child. Speaking of Vulcans, another episode is 'Four-And-A-Half-Vulcans,' which is probably the episode previewed at Comic-Con last year, where the human crew is transformed into logical Vulcans. The final episode of the season is titled 'New Life and New Civilizations,' which is of course part of the iconic opening spoken-word intro since the days of William Shatner. We'll have to wait and see how it ties into the 60-year legacy of Star Trek. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season three premieres on Paramount+ with two episodes on July 17.

Paramount has unveiled all episode titles for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Additionally, we have five new character posters, which you can check out below. Expect the 10-episode third season to arrive this summer. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be beaming in before you know it. In the meantime, Paramount+ has released the episode titles for all 10 Season 3 episodes. Plus, we've also got another round of posters. Do they hold more specific teases for what's to come than previous posters? We'll leave that for you to decide. Scroll down to the bottom of the article to check them out for yourself. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 First up are the episode titles. They are: 1. 'Hegemony III.' 2. 'Wedding Bell Blues.' 3. 'Shuttle to Kenfori.' 4. 'A Space Adventure Hour.' 5. 'Through the Lens of Time.' 6. 'The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail.' 7. 'What Is Starfleet?' 8. 'Four-and-a-Half Vulcans.' 9. 'Terrarium.' And finally, the season finale, 'New Life and New Civilizations.' These feature the show's main cast members. First up are Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) and Una Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn). The next poster features Montgomery Scott (Martin Quinn) and Pelia (Carol Kane). Next up are M'Benga (Babs Olusanmokun) and La'an Noonien-Singh (Christina Chong). They're followed by Spock (Ethan Peck) and Christine Chapel (Jess Bush). And by process of elimination, the fifth and final poster features Nyota Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding) and Erica Ortegas (Melissa Navia). Unlike the previously released posters, this fresh batch includes imagery that could tease individual episodes. Or, they might just reflect the unseen adventures the crew has between episodes. Canadian actor Michael J. Fox leads ‘Back to the Future' cast in search for lost Gibson guitar from film
If only Michael J. Fox could go back in time to 1985 and get his hands on the iconic guitar he used in the 'Back to the Future' movie. He's not really a time traveller, but he's hoping to luck out in tracking down the classic Cherry Red Gibson ES-345 guitar from the film that launched two sequels. It's been missing for 40 years, and some of the cast and crew has reunited for a hunt to find it. The guitar was used in a memorable scene from the film. Fox's character Marty McFly, who has travelled back in time to 1955, is asked to step in for an injured band member at the 1955 school prom. McFly picks up the guitar and starts playing. First, he strums to 'Earth Angel' by The Penguins, and then goes into a solo riff from Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B. Goode,' calling it an oldie where he comes from, even though the 1958 song doesn't exist yet. Gibson Guitars has teamed up with filmmaker Doc Crotzer to launch the search for the missing guitar, which is part of a broader project marking the movie's 40th anniversary. And the search is being turned into a documentary, with comments from Fox, who is a guitar collector. 'No one's seen that guitar since 1985,' actor Harry Waters Jr., who played Starlighters band guitarist Marvin Berry, said in a new 'Lost to the Future' promo. 'It's somewhere lost in the space-time continuum, or it's in some teamster's garage,' Fox said. There is even a website, with an 800-number for tips. When it comes to guitars in movies, no guitar was more iconic or more influential than the Cherry Red Gibson ES-345 used by Marty McFly to play 'Johnny B Goode' in the movie Back to the Future. That scene has been cited by countless artists as the moment they knew they wanted to play guitar. One problem: the guitar has been missing since 1985, and no one knows its whereabouts. A countdown clock on the website is ticking down to four-and-a-half months from now, but there's no information about what happens at the end, or what the reward may be if the guitar is found. Anyone with information about the guitar can leave a message at 1-855-345-1955 or send a message via . The now iconic guitar is said to have inspired a generation of musicians — from celebrities like Chris Martin of Coldplay to garage band guitarists. But the guitar was nothing but a prop at the time, rented from Norman's Rare Guitars in California, a story in said . Strangely enough, even though the film is set in 1955, the filmmakers weren't exactly true to the time frame, and took some liberties in using that guitar. That Gibson ES-345 model was not in production until 1958, and didn't appear in that cherry red colour until 1959, said. Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B. Goode' song did was released in 1958, so that aligns with the movie's narrative — but he doesn't have a cousin named Marvin. Staff from Norm's guitar store believe the guitar was sold sometime after the movie, then returned to be resold again — but there's no firm paperwork on where it ended up. They believe it may be in Japan, as guitar aficionado tourists were visiting the area during a vintage guitar boom, Billboard said. A Canadian, Fox will appear in Toronto later this summer for FanExpo Aug. 22 and 23, to sign autographs for $300 each, or $349 for a signed comic book, licence plate, movie poster and other memorabilia.
