Texas A&M is predicted to land 2026 3-star QB out of Missouri City (TX)
Texas A&M's future at quarterback is never set in today's transfer portal era, but for right now, redshirt sophomore Marcel Reed is the program's starter heading into the 2025 season, but nothing is guaranteed from there on out.
After trading starts with Conner Weigman, who transferred to Houston this offseason, Reed's ability to make plays out of the structure with his legs holds a stark advantage. Still, he'll need to improve from the pocket as a decision-maker to vault the Aggies into the College Football Playoff conversation.
Right now, Texas A&M's QB Future lies in the hands of sophomores Myles O'Neill and 2026 four-star Helaman Casuga, who were high school teammates with 2025 five-star WR signee Jerome Myles. Still, coach Mike Elko and his staff are looking to add another arm to the 2026 class to join Casuga, as a talented name has emerged as a new favorite to land with the Aggies over Colorado.
On Wednesday, On3 Recruiting Director Steve Wiltfong placed his prediction for Texas A&M to land 2026 three-star quarterback Kaeden Johnson out of Fort Bend Marshall HS in Missouri City, Texas, home of former standout Aggie running back De'Von Achane, who stands out at 6'5" and 215 pounds.
During his 2024 junior season, Johnson passed for 2,109 yards and 25 touchdowns while completing 60% of his passes and rushing for 571 yards and six touchdowns.

Auburn football is making a late push to land a four-star 2026 CB from Florida
Auburn football is making a late push to land a four-star 2026 CB from Florida Auburn's late push for four-star CB Danny Odem could pay off ahead of his late-June commitment date. When 2026 cornerback Danny Odem revealed his top schools last month, Auburn was nowhere to be found. Now, just over 10 days until his commitment date, Auburn is among the top schools that Odom is heavily considering. The change of heart comes after a recent visit to Plains. Odem toured the campus and facility, and had a great time developing a relationship with cornerbacks coach Wesley McGriff. McGriff may single-handedly be the reason Auburn is so high in the race with the 11th hour approaching. "When I put out my top teams, Auburn wasn't in there," Odem said in an interview with Auburn Undercover. "Now in my final decision, Auburn's one of my top teams. Coach Crime Dawg (was why). He came to see me, we chopped it up over dinner. Boom." Odem's relationship with McGriff is a major reason for his interest in Auburn, but his campus visit gave him something to consider. Odem admits that he knew virtually nothing about Auburn before his visit, but after taking in the environment, he feels that Auburn is a special place. "It was very impressive," Odem said of his visit. "Way better than I thought. I thought it was like in the middle of nowhere. So it shocked me. The town, the campus, the facilities — it's a great college town. We went to Bunkers and hung out, watched practice, watched them workout. Then just talking with Coach Crime and some of the players." So, who is Auburn battling ahead of his June 23 commitment date? Georgia, Miami, Nebraska, Clemson, Florida, Penn State, Syracuse, and Oklahoma were in his top eight when he released his list in May. He has zero crystal ball predictions from 247Sports recruiting experts, but the Sooners are at the top of the race according to On3, who gives them a 20.5% chance to land his pledge. Nebraska is next at 17.9%, and Auburn is third with a 11.6% forecast. Auburn has 10 days to continue pushing for Odem's commitment, but understands that it will be a tight race for the next week and a half. Odem is a four-star cornerback from The First Academy in Orlando, Florida, and ranks as high as No. 8 within his position and No. 7 among 2026 recruits from Florida. Indiana Fever update Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham injury status
Indiana Fever update Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham injury status Both Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark's reps were limited today, Steph White said, but they're starting to run up and down the floor to get back in game rhythm. More: — Chloe Peterson (@chloepeterson67) June 12, 2025 As the Indiana Fever (4-5) prepare for their Saturday clash against the New York Liberty (9-0), the team provided an update on Thursday regarding the injury statuses of both Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham. While there was the possibility both could have returned for Tuesday night's game at Atlanta, the safer option for the team moving forward was to use the three off days between games as added recovery for the two pivotal Fever players. In her Thursday media availability, Fever head coach Stephanie White told reporters that both guards had limited practice time but mentioned that the two have started to run up and down the floor to get back in the game rhythm. "I mean, I think the biggest thing is just understanding that we have the opportunity to grow through some circumstances that might not be ideal. You know, the ball's getting in other people's hands outside of Caitlin [Clark], on the floor, and how are we able to get one another in position to be successful? You know, players are getting minutes that might have been limited with both Caitlin and Sophie out," White said. If Clark and Cunningham are able to play on Saturday against the undefeated Liberty, the addition will bring a much-needed offensive boost to a Fever team that has been a bit out of sorts during the injury absence. Saturday's game against New York will be a 2 p.m. CT tipoff from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and the high-profile matchup will be broadcast on ABC. UNC extends offer to Class of 2028 quarterback
With the offseason arrival of Bill Belichick as UNC's next head football coach, football recruits – both in the transfer portal and those still in high school – are taking notice of Chapel Hill. North Carolina shaped its 2025 roster primarily through the portal, adding the likes of top-ranked transfers Thaddeus Dixon and Gio Lopez. The Tar Heels also solidified their 2025 recruiting class with commitments from a pair of 4-stars: in-state quarterback Bryce Baker and South Carolina running back Jaylen McGrill. Advertisement UNC's 2026 recruiting class is amongst the country's best, improving furthermore by re-securing a commitment from 4-star, in-state edge rusher Zavion Griffin-Haynes. North Carolina has just one commitment in its 2027 recruiting class, Gardena (Calif.) athlete Skylar Robinson, but these guys are still two high school seasons away from graduating. Just under three months from the start of their 2025 season, the Tar Heels got a major jumpstart into another one of their future recruiting classes, offering Class of 2028 quarterback Hudson West. As you'll see in West's above tweet, he was named MVP of the Bill Belichick Football Camp on June 8. West still has three varsity seasons to play, but his impression was strong enough to warrant an offer. Advertisement West will enter his second season at Sarasota High School (Fla.) this fall, where he likely keeps the starting quarterback gig. If you look at the pinned tweet on West's X account, he started as a freshman on varsity, another major honor college coaches will certainly take notice of. UNC's upcoming recruiting classes will likely be shaped by their on-field performance, as Belichick brings a championship background that college football in Chapel Hill sorely lacks. There's a ton of offseason hype surrounding North Carolina, but can players and coaches turn that hype into victories?
