Travis Kelce Was ‘Tricked' Into Referencing Taylor Swift on Podcast

and like having fun on their 'New Heights' podcast. On their latest episode, the latter indirectly brought up his brother's girlfriend, Taylor Swift. While discussing their guests, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end realized that his elder brother 'tricked' him into referencing Taylor. It's not uncommon for the brothers to talk about the pop star on their podcast, but this trickery surely made for a fun moment for the couple's fans. Travis Kelce didn't realize he referred to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, until it was a little too late. It was all thanks to his brother Jason Kelce, who successfully managed to lead the moment. During their recent 'New Heights' podcast episode, the two brothers were talking about their guests, Andrew Whitworth and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Jason began by stating that the 'two NFL legends' held the record for 'most teams played on in a career.' Travis expressed that the statement couldn't be true. However, when his brother wondered about the exact number of teams, he speculated 13, coincidentally making a reference to Taylor's lucky number. As soon as Travis realized it, he corrected himself to say the number 15. Meanwhile, Jason quipped, 'If it [was] 13, that's a lucky number.' Travis also admitted that 13, which is most commonly linked with Taylor, is a good number. The NFL player then admitted that his brother successfully 'tricked' him into saying the number out loud. For those unaware, Taylor previously revealed how the number 13 has had quite the significance in her life. From being born on the 13th to her first album going gold in 13 weeks, the number has proven to be quite a lucky one for the singer. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who have been dating since October 2023, have been away from the spotlight for quite some time. However, a netizen recently spotted the couple at a Philadelphia restaurant, celebrating Mother's Day with their respective families.
