On this intriguing occasion of
International Chai Day
, where all the chai lovers take a moment to celebrate their love for the beverage,
Aishwarya Khare
, who essays the role of Lakshmi in
Bhagya Lakshmi
said, 'I truly believe there's nothing a good cup of tea can't fix.
For me, chai isn't just a drink, it's comfort, nostalgia, and a daily ritual I can't do without. My mornings begin only after that first sip of chai, and on hectic days, it becomes my little escape.
"
Aishwarya has an interesting
chai recipe
, "I have my own little recipe that I swear by - I boil mint leaves, adrak (ginger), and elaichi (cardamom) together before adding the tea leaves, sugar, and milk. It's not just about the taste, it's soothing, especially when you're under the weather or just feeling drained.
That aroma, the warmth of the cup in your hands — it's like a gentle reminder to slow down and breathe. No matter where I am or how busy life gets, a cup of chai always brings me home.
"
Recently, Aishwarya had shot 6 hours in a cold storage for an intense scene, sharing her experience, she said, "Shooting this sequence was one of the most challenging yet exciting experiences of my career. To maintain the foggy effect in the room, we had to switch off the AC and the room was very hot, making it a little difficult to shoot.
Maintaining expressions, delivering dialogues, and staying in that environment for long stretches required a lot of focus and endurance.
However, as actors, we embrace such challenges to bring authenticity to our performances. I'm truly grateful to my team for ensuring my comfort and safety throughout the shoot. These experiences push me to grow in my craft, and I love every bit of it.'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's untold debut story: From rejecting ‘Raja Hindustani' to rising after ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya' flopped

In a world where rising to the top often means riding on the shoulders of powerful heroes or being handpicked by A-list directors, one woman defied the rulebook. She wasn't launched with fanfare. She didn't belong to a film dynasty. But what she had was something more rare—an aura that made the world stop and stare. Before the red carpets, before the Cannes appearances, and before the world came to know her name—this woman had already made a bold choice that set her apart from the rest. We're talking about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , a name that echoes far beyond the confines of Indian cinema. Known globally as the most beautiful woman in the world, Aishwarya is more than just a pretty face. Her elegance, confidence, and steely determination helped her navigate an industry notorious for its obsession with power, privilege, and lineage. But few know the story behind her stardom. She didn't burst onto the silver screen with a blockbuster. In fact, her debut film in 1997 opposite Bobby Deol—Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya—was anything but a hit. The film tanked. Yes, she had multiple offers—even before she became Miss World in 1994. But she had a different path in mind. And that wasn't the only time she said 'no' to the industry's biggest names. There was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, a role she famously declined. The reason? She didn't connect with the character of Tina. Mini skirts, straightened hair, a certain image that didn't sit right with her. She feared being mocked. She walked away. Her decisions may have raised eyebrows back then. But they were the very choices that built her legacy. Along the way, her life off-screen made as many headlines as her films. A romance that bloomed on the sets of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam became the talk of the nation. The man she fell for was no ordinary co-star. Their love story gripped fans, but what unfolded later left many shocked, even concerned. There were whispers, then reports—of turmoil behind closed doors. Eventually, the chapter ended. But fate had something else in store. In 2007, she stunned the world again—not with a film, but with a wedding. A celebration fit for royalty, sealing her bond with another Bollywood scion: Abhishek Bachchan . As for the one she once loved? He remains unmarried to this day. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan didn't climb the ladder—she built it herself, one bold step at a time.
