Arrest Made in Gruesome Dog Abuse Video Caught on Camera in Long Beach
A man has been arrested for allegedly abusing a dog, filming it and posting it to social media, according to a Long Beach Police Department news release.
Alexander Cueva, 28, allegedly slammed a dog to the ground on Monday, April 21, in Long Beach, Calif. He allegedly documented the abuse, and it began to circulate on social media.
Officers responded to calls related to a video, and he was subsequently arrested for intentional cruelty to an animal on Tuesday, April 22. He was booked into Long Beach City Jail and remains in custody with an outstanding No-Bail warrant. The investigation is ongoing.

The dog has been rescued and treated by Long Beach Animal Emergency. She is now safely in the care of Long Beach Animal Care Services. Although she sustained some injuries, she remains 'energetic, bright, and responsive,' and is expected to heal, per Long Beach Animal Care Services.
She is set to be placed in a foster home for her recovery. 'She is not available for adoption due to the ongoing investigation. Keep checking back for additional updates,' per Long Beach Animal Care Services.

'This type of cruelty has no place in our community,' Police Chief Wally Hebeish said. 'I want to thank our detectives and officers for their outstanding work in swiftly identifying and apprehending the suspect.'
'We remain committed to ensuring those who harm others—especially the most vulnerable—are held accountable. We recognize the deep concern this incident caused throughout our community and appreciate the public's assistance in sharing critical information,' Hebeish concluded.

MCSO searching for suspect who evaded on motorcycle
MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Midland County Sheriff's Office has asked for help from the community to identify a suspect accused of evading arrest. According to Crime Stoppers, on May 30, investigators with the MCSO tried to contact a man at the Kent Kwik located in the 5000 block of Highway 349. Charleston Police Dept. seeking help in identifying masked subject
CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — The Charleston Police Department is looking for information on a masked individual and is turning to the public for help in identifying them. Two airlifted after crash involving concrete truck in Coles Co. In a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon, the department posted five security camera photos of a subject wearing a black mask, green hoodie, black backpack, black gloves and blue jeans among other things. However, the department did not provide a specific reason as to why they are seeking information on this person. Charleston Police is asking anyone who can help identify this person to reach out to detectives at 217-345-8403. Additionally, those wishing to stay anonymous can use the P3 Tips website to submit the information they have on the individual. LI man found in pool identified as suspect in father's murder
LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — The body of the man found in a pool in a Long Island home last month has been identified as Matthew Zoll, who was wanted for killing his father, police said Tuesday. Zoll, 33, was found dead in a pool at a Shoreham home on May 25, authorities said. The cause of death remained unclear. The father, Joseph Zoll, 61, was found stabbed at his home at 30 Quail Rd. in November 2024, officials said. He died at the hospital. The younger Zoll was wearing the same clothing he had on when he was last seen. The home where he was found is also close to where he was involved in a single-vehicle crash the night of the murder, authorities said. Detectives believe Matthew Zoll was injured after he crashed a black GMC Yukon SUV at the intersection of 25A and the William Floyd Parkway on Nov. 9, 2024, at approximately 1:35 a.m., authorities said.
