Fofana forced off in first half vs Genoa, but Milan optimistic ahead of Coppa Italia final
Youssouf Fofana was forced off less than 30 minutes into Milan's Serie A clash against Genoa, but his injury is not expected to be serious and should not jeopardise his availability for next week's Coppa Italia final against Bologna.
The France international, considered one of Sergio Conceiçao's irreplaceable players, started the match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris but went down shortly after the 20th minute.

Although he attempted to continue, it quickly became evident he was struggling to run properly, prompting Conceição to replace him with Rafael Leao, who was surprisingly left out of the starting XI.

Milan run into problems for Vlahovic, Rabiot and Zinchenko
Milan are trying to give Max Allegri reinforcements, but Adrien Rabiot wants to stay at Olympique Marseille, while Dusan Vlahovic and Oleksandr Zinchenko salaries are a problem. The coach has taken a year off after the tempestuous end to his Juve experience and is back on the bench next season at San Siro. EPA-EFE/DANIEL DAL ZENNARO According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, Allegri wants to reunite with Rabiot, but that will be practically impossible. Advertisement This is because Olympique Marseille do not want to sell, but the player also is comfortable at his current club and has no real intention of leaving already. When it comes to the strikers, Vlahovic remains the first choice, though here too there are bound to be some major problems. That is caused by his salary, which is also the main reason why Juventus are trying to sell this summer rather than renew the contract that expires in June 2026. An alternative to Vlahovic for that role would be Atalanta hitman and Serie A Capocannoniere Mateo Retegui. However, here too the wages he is currently earning at Arsenal are considered outlandish for the Rossoneri, who failed to qualify for Europe and therefore took a hit to their revenue.
