Stratford police arrest man accused of violating protective order

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Stratford police say they arrested a man last week who is accused of assaulting and harassing the same victim multiple times.
Mark Febres, 29, was located and arrested in the parking lot of Top Quality Vibes Bar in Orange on April 23.

Police said he is the subject of a recent full no contact protective order with the victim, which was issued by the Bridgeport States Attorney's Office.
Stratford police charged him with criminal violation of a protective order, first-degree harassment and second-degree stalking.
He was issued a April 25 court date and is being held in lieu of a $200,000 court-set bond.
During the arrest, Febres was also found to illegally be carrying a Glock 43X firearm as a convicted felon.
'At some point in the near future,' Orange police are expected to charge him with criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and two counts of criminal violation of a restraining order, according to Stratford law enforcement.
He will be held in lieu of an additional $500,000 court-set bond, according to Stratford police.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white Audi that they say got onto I-91 north before exiting the highway.
