WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – A motor vehicle crash on Tinkham Road in Wilbraham has resulted in a temporary road closure.
Pickup truck fire put out on I-91 in Northampton
The Wilbraham Police Department said that a motor vehicle crash occurred late Saturday morning involving a utility pole, resulting in wires coming down. As a result, a portion of Tinkham Road and Rochford Drive will be closed until further notice.
Police are urging drivers to seek alternate routes if possible and use caution. Delays in the area are expected.

Overnight ramp closure on I-91N ramp in Springfield on Tuesday
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is notifying drivers of an overnight ramp closure on I-91 on Tuesday. Nightly closures on I-91 in Northampton due to bridge work The I-91 northbound ramp located on Longhill Street in Springfield will be closed from 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday until 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday. This closure is taking place due to overnight construction work in the area. MassDOT stated that variable message signage will be installed along Sumner Avenue near Longhill Street to assist drivers around the work zone. I-91 southbound access from Longhill Street will remain open for travelers during this time. Nightly closures on I-91 in Northampton due to bridge work
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – I-91 in Northampton will be closed between exits 23 and 26 nightly for work on new highway bridges. Cooley Dickinson Hospital's remodel boosts ER capacity by 40% Drivers will be detoured off I-91 to routes 5 and 10 in Northampton during overnight hours. From Sunday, June 8th through Thursday, June 12th, and again on Sunday, June 15th, the highway will be closed to traffic between 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Southbound traffic will be detoured at exit 26 (Route 5/North King Street) and travel along Route 5 south through downtown Northampton to the on ramp at exit 23 (Mount Tom Road).
