One killed in shooting at apartment complex off Yadkin Road
An early morning shooting off Yadkin Road in Fayetteville claimed the life of one June 8.According to the Fayetteville Police Department, the shooting happened just before 3:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of Dornoch Drive. The location is within the Liberty Square Apartment complex. The individual, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective A. Fraudster on the run after absconding from prison
Police are searching for a convict who has absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire. Derbyshire Police said Paul Haughey left HMP Sudbury, near Ashbourne, between 11:00 BST and midday on Sunday. The force described the 40-year-old, who was serving a nine-month sentence for fraud and theft offences, as white, about 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall, of medium build, with grey hair.
