How to park in a small garage
If your garage is tight, here are some tools to park without hitting anything.
Having a garage to park in is a luxury not everyone has. And not all garages are made equal. They can be small or packed full of boxes or toys, with just enough room for your vehicle or even two cars, provided your Tetris skills are expert level. In some situations, one wrong move can be disastrous.
The problem isn't a new one, so if you also play a risky game when parking your car, keep reading for some easy solutions to park perfectly every time.
Watch this video for easy parking solutions that work in any garage.
Garage tennis ball
Hang a ball on a string to get a precise park every time. You can buy a parking ball or make your own using a spare tennis ball lying around the house. This solution works by using the ball as a marker, so when your car touches the ball, you know you're in the perfect place.
To use the ball-on-a-string method:
Start by positioning your car exactly where you want it in the garage. Position the ball in a place that makes sense for you and your vehicle. Whether you choose to place it touching the hood of your car or touching your windshield, the important thing is it's in a place you can easily spot when you're behind the wheel. Check that the string is straight and mark the spot on the ceiling. Install a lightweight screw with a hook into your ceiling. Secure the string to the hook.
This method also works if you prefer to back into your parking space.
Garage parking aids
Laser parking assistant.
A laser parking assist can be especially useful if you're parking two cars, plus they come in plug-in versions and battery-powered versions.
You can easily install them on your garage's ceiling with an adhesive strip, but you can also choose to secure it with additional screws. Once it's up, pull your vehicle into the garage and adjust the laser to hit a spot on your dashboard that will indicate you've hit your target.
Parking blocks.
You know those concrete parking blocks that sit at the head of a parking spot? There are smaller and lighter versions of those you can use in your garage, too. They come in different sizes and varieties, including miniature ones that can be used in front of your tires.

The Rise of Mobile Gaming: Why Everyone's Playing on Their Phones

In the last decade, mobile gaming has transformed from a niche pastime into a global phenomenon. More people than ever before are gaming on their phones, whether it's during a commute, in a waiting room, or simply relaxing at home. This rise is fueled by advancements in smartphone technology, the convenience of mobile platforms, and an ever-expanding variety of games catering to all ages and interests. If you haven't already explored this booming world, it's easy to start — just click Now to jump into popular titles like Roblox and discover why mobile gaming is the future. Mobile gaming began with simple, pixelated games like Snake and Tetris, which were pre-installed on early cell phones. As smartphones evolved, so did their capability to support more complex and engaging games. The introduction of touchscreen technology, faster processors, and larger storage spaces allowed developers to create visually stunning and interactive games. Today, mobile games range from casual puzzle games and multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBAs) to immersive role-playing games (RPGs) and realistic sports simulators. The App Store and Google Play Store each host millions of games, making mobile gaming one of the most diverse and accessible entertainment options. Several factors explain why mobile gaming has surged in popularity worldwide: Unlike traditional gaming platforms such as consoles or PCs, mobile phones are always within reach. This convenience allows users to play games anytime and anywhere without additional equipment. Whether it's a five-minute break or a long trip, mobile gaming fits seamlessly into daily routines. Many mobile games use a free-to-play model, enabling users to download and play without any initial cost. Monetization typically comes through microtransactions, such as buying cosmetic items or unlocking new features. This model lowers the barrier to entry and encourages a broad player base. Mobile games often incorporate social features that allow players to connect with friends or meet new people worldwide. Games like Fortnite Mobile and PUBG Mobile have thriving communities, making gaming a shared social experience rather than a solitary one. Mobile games frequently receive updates with new content, challenges, and seasonal events. This constant innovation keeps players engaged and excited about returning to the game. The rise of mobile gaming has had a profound effect on the overall gaming industry: Revenue Growth : Mobile gaming generates billions of dollars in revenue annually, surpassing traditional gaming platforms in some regions. : Mobile gaming generates billions of dollars in revenue annually, surpassing traditional gaming platforms in some regions. Cross-Platform Gaming: Many popular games now support cross-platform play, allowing users to play across mobile, console, and PC seamlessly. Certain games have been instrumental in pushing mobile gaming into the mainstream. Titles like PUBG Mobile, Among Us, Candy Crush Saga, and Clash of Clans have attracted massive global audiences. Another standout is Roblox, a unique platform where users can create and play games made by others, fostering creativity and community interaction. Games like Mobile Legends and Call of Duty Mobile are building their own professional circuits. This growth opens new career paths for gamers and creates entertainment value similar to traditional sports. Looking ahead, several trends suggest mobile gaming will continue to expand: Cloud gaming technology allows users to stream high-quality games without needing powerful hardware. This will enable even more sophisticated titles to run smoothly on mobile devices. Games utilizing AR and VR technology, such as Pokémon Go, provide immersive experiences blending the real world with the digital. These innovations will likely become more prevalent in mobile gaming. Artificial intelligence can tailor gaming experiences to individual players' preferences, enhancing engagement and satisfaction. The rollout of 5G networks means faster, more reliable internet connections, which support real-time multiplayer games and reduce latency. Mobile gaming offers entertainment that fits into busy modern lives, delivering fun, social interaction, and sometimes even education. Whether you're a casual player or a dedicated gamer, the mobile platform has something for everyone. Plus, the barrier to entry is low — no expensive consoles or gaming PCs are needed. For those ready to explore, platforms like Roblox offer endless creative possibilities, allowing players to build and share their own game worlds. Smoke Trailer: Taron Egerton Hunts a Serial Arsonist in New Apple TV+ Show

Apple TV+ has released a blazing new trailer for its new crime drama, Smoke, starring Emmy Award nominee Taron Egerton. It is set to debut on the streamer on June 27. Best known for his roles in Robin Hood, Rocketman, Tetris, and the Kingsman film series, Smoke serves as Egerton's latest project following Netflix's Carry-On in 2024. The forthcoming series also marks the actor's latest project with Apple TV+ after he starred as James Keene in the true crime drama Black Bird back in 2022. 'Smoke follows an arson investigator who begrudgingly teams up with a police detective as their race to stop two arsonists ignites a twisted game of secrets and suspicions,' the plot description reads. Billed as a 'gripping crime drama,' the newly released trailer for Smoke introduces Egerton's Dave Gudsen, an arson investigator unraveling a series of destructive fires. Working alongside Jurnee Smollett's Detective Michell Calderon, who Dave initially doubts due to her lack of experience in arson cases, the two struggle to find significant leads concerning the two serial arsonists. They now must work against the clock before the unfortunate event claims more lives. 'Serial arsonists tend to be powerless in their own lives. They want other people to know what that feels like,' Egerton's Dave said in the trailer. You can watch the trailer for Smoke down below: Smoke is inspired by Firebug podcast, which was hosted by Kary Antholis. Egerton also serves as one of the show's executive producers. It is created and written by Black Bird creator Dennis Lehane. The rest of the cast includes Rafe Spall, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Hannah Emily Anderson, Anna Chlumsky, Adina Porter, Greg Kinnear, and John Leguizamo. The first two episodes of Smoke will arrive on Apple TV+ on June 27, with new episodes arriving Fridays through August 15.
