Farmer Wants A Wife star's secret side hustle and surprising talent revealed

Daily Mail20-05-2025

Farmer Wants A Wife star Jarrad Wrigley has shocked fans by revealing showing off his surprising talent and side hustle.
The 21-year-old sheep farmer recently delighted his social media followers with a video of him singing and playing guitar at a local Honky Tonk bar in Brisbane.
The reality TV star was seen enthusiastically belting out a country music song on stage for a packed house at Chattahooche Country Bar in Fortitude Valley.
Jarrad covered US country music star Blake Shelton 's song Texas to a roaring crowd.
He looked every inch the budding country music star in a plaid white shirt, brown pants and a matching cowboy hat.
Many of Jarrad's followers took to the comment section to congratulate him on his singing prowess.
'Wonderful. Love it,' one person gushed, while a second added: 'Well done'.
Earlier this month, Jarrad's journey on FWAW came to a thrilling conclusion.
Jarrad appeared to find his happily ever after with Queensland bartender Chloe, 22, after he picked her to be his final choice on the dating show, dumping his second choice, Victorian education support worker Ashlee, 22.
Down to his final two ladies, he met Chloe and Ash's families, hoping this would help him in his decision making.
Despite having strong affections for both ladies, Jarrad announced bartender Chloe had won his heart, saying the pair went together like 'cold beer and country music'.
'I love how you push me to want to be a better man. I'm falling for you, and I do hope you are ready to catch me. I would be honoured to have you by my side,' he said.
'I will do my best to be better every day because from this day on, I would like to spend every day with you.'
An elated and emotional Chloe described the moment as a 'pretty surreal' before joking with Jarrad that her engagement finger was currently 'vacant real estate'.
Despite the happy ending, all may not be what it seems after it was revealed that Farmer Jarrad might already be back on the market.
The fan favourite was tipped to find a fairytale ending on the show, but questions are now swirling about the fate of his relationship with Chloe after fans claimed he's been behaving like a bachelor off-screen.
'He didn't act like someone in a relationship,' one festivalgoer told Daily Mail Australia, alleging they encountered Jarrad at a country music gig in Tamworth back in January – weeks after he reportedly wrapped filming on the show.
'He was chatting up women left and right. He even joked about being "done with dating shows." Honestly, it seemed like he was single or just didn't care who saw.'
Another punter, who claims to have seen Jarrad at a rural pub earlier this year, echoed the sentiment.
'There was no mention of a girlfriend. He was pretty flirty. If he's still with the girl from the show, he's got a strange way of showing it' they said.
While Channel Seven has kept a tight lid on how the season ends, speculation is mounting online that Jarrad may have quietly parted ways with his chosen lady or possibly signed up for the wrong reasons altogether.
Despite being described by some as 'one of the nicest blokes you'd ever meet,' Jarrad has been slammed online by fans who believe the only thing he was truly chasing is a record deal.

Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac channels legendary cartoon character with bold new look

Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac stunned viewers on Friday morning by channelling a legendary cartoon character with his bold new look. The Channel Seven veteran, 43, turned heads sporting a bold moustache and eye-catching green tee during his morning show appearance, paying homage to Ned Flanders from The Simpsons. Sam fully embraced the comparison, donning prescription glasses and playfully greeting viewers with Ned's iconic catchphrase: 'Hi-Diddly-Ho, neighbour! Okilly Dokilly.' He later shared an image of Ned Flanders waving to the camera alongside an image of him doing the same and captioned it with some amusing words. 'After repeated requests to remove the beard... I said okilly dokilly... and here I am back at work making a fresh start (borrowing the emoji's glasses). Ned Flanders? Or someone on a watch-list?,' Sam quipped. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The weatherman has developed a reputation for his cheeky behaviour both on and offscreen. Earlier this week, Sam left fans divided after retuning to Sunrise after a month off with a new look. On Monday, the beloved weatherman appeared on the Channel Seven morning show for the first time since he went on 'dad leave' in May. The TV regular, who shares Margot, two, and Mabel, ten months, with fiancée Rebecca James, debuted a beard which he had grown in his month away from the show. Prior to his first day back, Sam uploaded a picture to Instagram on Sunday telling fans that if the snap of his new facial hair got enough likes he would keep it. 'If this photo gets 10 thousand likes I'll keep the beard for my return to @sunriseon7 on Monday #DadLeaveBeard,' he captioned the post, which showed him holding onto his new bundle of joy. While the Instagram picture failed to garner enough likes before the show, his Facebook post did, resulting in Sam's return to his weatherman gig with a hairy chin. However, it seems many fans were actually not too pleased with the dad-of-two's new look. 'Very good to see Sam Mac back and showing why he is the best at weather. The beard was an interesting addition,' one person wrote on a Sunrise chat forum. In May, the TV weatherman took to Instagram to reveal he would be going on one month's leave. Posting a picture with baby Mabel, he went on to express how excited he was to spend some quality time with his young children. 'This guy is officially on "Dad Leave",' Sam, who welcomed his second child last August, captioned the post. 'So ridiculously excited to have some uninterrupted time with our darling Mabel. I did the same when Margot was a baby and have vivid memories of being there as she took her first steps. 'Now to have more time with her as a toddler is an added bonus (albeit a slightly terrifying one)' he added.

The shock reason Dancing With The Stars contestant Osher Günsberg wore the same outfit on two shows

Osher Günsberg is no stranger to glitzy getups, but fans were left stunned after spotting a very familiar jacket in promos for the upcoming season of Channel Seven's Dancing With The Stars. The 51-year-old TV personality - known for hosting The Bachelor, The Masked Singer and Australian Idol - is hitting the dance floor in style, recycling a bold purple and blue blazer he previously wore on Channel Ten 's The Masked Singer in 2021. And it turns out there's a very unexpected reason behind the wardrobe déjà vu. 'The jacket I'm wearing in the promos is actually my own,' Osher told Yahoo Lifestyle. 'Channel 10 was going to get rid of all my old suits. They were just sitting in a suitcase in a cupboard somewhere. So I bought them.' Rather than settling for what Seven 's stylists had planned, Osher insisted on wearing his own gear - and producers were all for it. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I was like, "I've got a better one, let me try this," and they went, "Oh, it's perfect!",' he said. 'So I got to wear my own jacket.' The TV host admitted he also bought several suits from The Bachelor after Ten held a wardrobe cleanout, with proceeds going to charity. 'When I found out they were selling them, I was like, "Can I just come in and grab that stuff?" and they said, "Yeah sure". And the fashion flashbacks don't end there. Osher r evealed he even danced in a bespoke pair of shoes created by Oscar-winning costume designer Tim Chappel - describing them as 'really comfy' and 'incredible' to look at. Alongside his stint on DWTS, Osher is preparing to release his new book, So What? Now What?, on August 5, which he says is designed to help readers get unstuck and move forward in life. DWTS recently made headlines after it was rumoured to be facing the chopping block only a week before it was due to hit screens. The speculation left fans scratching their heads on what was next, not only for the series but for the show's hosts Dr. Chris Brown and Sonia Kruger. Insiders claimed that Seven was tired of forking out large sums of money for the show's production, which is said to cost around $1million per episode. Channel Seven has denied rumours DWTS is facing the axe and assured fans the show is not being cancelled in a statement provided to Daily Mail Australia. The show was previously taken off of Aussie screens in 2015 after viewership numbers dipped. However, it was quickly picked up in 2019 by Channel Ten. It came as a surprise when Seven took the show back in 2021, with close sources revealing that a big factor in its return was Sonia's new role under the network's helm.
