WASHINGTON () — The 'A Taste of the DMV' event will be impacting traffic in D.C. this weekend — one of several events causing road closures this weekend.
DC road closures begin ahead of military parade Saturday
These streets will be closed to parking and traffic from Friday, June 13, starting at 9 p.m. until Sunday, June 15, at 1 a.m.:
Pennsylvania Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW
4th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Madison Drive, NW
6th Street from Constitution Avenue to C Street, NW
Constitution Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW
Any cars violating the no-parking signs will be ticketed and towed.

Sampson County roads to close for maintenance
SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — A couple of Sampson County roads are scheduled to close while crews conduct maintenance June 16-19. According to a press release, a portion of Panhandle Road Near McCullen Road will close at 7 a.m. June 16 and plan to reopen it by 5 p.m. June 18, weather permitting. Motorists are advised to take North McCullen Road and Keener Road alternatively. Beginning at 8 p.m. June 17, a section of Huntley School Road will close near Tyndall Bridge Road. Weather permitting the road will reopen by 5:30 p.m. June 18. Maintenance staff will replace a pipe during the closure. Drivers are advised to take alternate roads such as Tyndall Bridge Road, Fann School Road, and Horse Pasture Road. Deputies: Driver crashes into car dealership near Fruitport
SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A driver crashed into a car dealership in Spring Lake Township overnight, deputies say. It happened around 12:05 a.m. Friday at Johnson Auto Sales, located at 14658 Apple Dr. near N. Fruitport Road, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say a 34-year-old Muskegon woman was driving a Subaru Crosstrek and crashed into the dealership. No one was hurt, but the building was damaged. The sheriff's office is investigating.
