Our Honor 400 Pro battery life and charging speed test results are out
We've finished testing the battery life endurance and charging speed of the Honor 400 Pro. Honor 400 Pro 5G
The phone packs a 5,300mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. That's 100mAh more than the Honor 200 Pro, but also 700 mAh less than the version sold outside Europe. The wired charging speed is the same, however, the wireless speed is reduced from 66W.
The Honor 400 Pro achieved a better Active Use score compared to its predecessor, close to 3 hours more overall. The 400 Pro outdid the 200 Pro in all categories, with around 8 hours more in calling, nearly 4 hours more in the browsing test, around 3 and a half hours more in video playback, and nearly 40 minutes of gaming more.
Measuring the Honor 400 Pro against some of its peers outside of Honor's lineup, and it's a solid performer, however far from the best, which is the Xiaomi 15.

Moving on to charging performance, the Honor 400 Pro is a standout phone. It kept the second place in all three of our tests - the 15-minute test, the 30-minute one, and the time to full charge, which took just 38 minutes in total.
You'll get from empty to 53% in a quarter of an hour, and up to 93% at the half-hour mark.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro was the only phone here to outdo the Honor 400 Pro, thanks to its 120W HyperCharge tech.

Huawei Pura 80 Pro+ design officially unveiled
Huawei is gearing up to launch its Pura 80 series in China on June 11 and the brand has now revealed the design of the Pura 80 Pro+. Huawei is sticking with its triangular camera island from the Pura 70 generation. The one on the Pura 80 Pro+ appears to be housing a trio of cameras, including a periscope/telephoto sensor. The new design bit for this year's Pura 80 series is the textured pattern inside the camera island. The LED flash is also placed between the camera sensors. We can also see that Huawei will offer flashier color options with this generation of Pura phones, including the bold red option seen in the product shot. Pura 80 Pro and 80 Pro+ will feature curved sides with what appears to be an aluminum frame. In related news, Huawei has opened up pre-reservations for the Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Pro+ on Vmall. Galaxy Z Flip 7 may quietly join the wireless charging elite
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will reportedly join the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in supporting a new wireless charging standard, just like the Galaxy S25 series. Recently, we found out that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature Qi2 Ready wireless charging, marking the first time Samsung has equipped its foldables with this new technology. Now, another listing reveals that the Z Fold 7 won't be unique in this regard. Samsung seems to be preparing Qi2 support for the clamshell Galaxy Z Flip 7 as well. It's worth noting that the South Korean tech giant is yet to adopt proper Qi2 because it requires magnets for charger alignment and accessories (think MagSafe in newer iPhones). However, the company is supporting a new version of the standard, which is Qi 2.1. Image Credit - Wireless Power Consortium Qi 2.1 allows for "approved" cases to add the magnets without the magnets being included in the phone itself. The Galaxy S25 series was the first from Samsung to bring this technology. Now, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will likely support it too. The info comes again from a listing from the Wireless Power Consortium or WPC, which is the same way we found out about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 . The listing notes the Galaxy Z Flip 7 as SM-A846U, which is an unusual model number, probably used to disguise that this is the Flip (the same occurred with the Fold). We know it's the Flip though as previously, the Z Flip 5 was listed as SM-A822D. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 are expected to be officially unveiled in 'early July'. We've recently had their key details leaked, and almost everything there is to know about them is out of the bag now. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 may feature more or less the same design as its predecessor, with one difference of a slightly bigger cover display. Unfortunately for some markets, the Flip may come with an Exynos chip, which is expected to be weaker than the Snapdragon version (the 8 Elite for Galaxy), which will reportedly be reserved for the U.S. version of the clamshell phone.
