Broja featured in just 10 league games at Everton last season as injuries limited his impact.
He suffered an Achilles tendon problem that kept him out for 95 days.
Then when he returned, he had an ankle injury that sidelined him for another 58 days.
By the time he was fit to play again the season was almost over and other players had already established themselves in the team.

Talks with Dutch side PSV and German's RB Leipzig have already taken place.
Broja burst onto the scene during a stellar loan spell at Southampton in 2021/22, scoring six league goals with his blend of pace, power, and clever movement.

The London-born Albanian striker's contract at Chelsea runs until 2028 with a club extension option inserted but SunSport understands the player desires a permanent move.
Chelsea are willing to do business and a fee in the region of £20million could see them agree to a total sale for a player who came through the Chelsea academy.
With the World Cup qualifiers coming up and Albania needing their talisman firing, Broja is determined to make the right move and get back to his best.

Trevoh Chalobah hoping his England career lasts longer than brother Nathaniel's
The Chelsea defender has received his maiden call-up for Thomas Tuchel's squad for forthcoming games against Andorra and Senegal following a successful season. He will be hoping to get on the pitch in the World Cup qualifier against the minnows in Barcelona on Saturday or the City Ground friendly against the African side three days later. His sibling Nathaniel, who currently plays for Sheffield Wednesday, won his one and only England cap in a Nations League win over Spain in 2018, appearing for six minutes and 54 seconds as a late substitute. And Trevoh is hoping that this is just the start for him. The 25-year-old said: 'When I found out I phoned my dad, spoke to my family, let them know, and they were over the moon for me also. And my older brother as well, Nathaniel. He was happy for me also. 'Obviously, him being here also, and to see his younger brother do the same, it was a very proud moment for him. And hopefully I can be here even more. 'It's been a journey for my parents. Obviously, they've seen the highs and lows, and they've been there every single step of the way. It's a good moment for them to share.' Nathaniel Chalobah, left, made his only appearance for England against Spain in 2018 (Nick Potts/PA) Chalobah is one of five Chelsea players in the squad and he knows boss Tuchel well as the German handed him his Stamford Bridge debut. It has been an impressive season for Chalobah as he starred on loan at Crystal Palace before returning to Chelsea to help the Blues to Conference League glory and Champions League qualification, with a trip to the United States for the Club World Cup still to come. He added: 'Individually for me, it's been a very good season. This has been one of my goals, and it's good to share with the Chelsea players. 'It just shows the quality that Chelsea produce and the players, it's good to be here with them also and share that moment. 'They've obviously eased me in here and helped me. As I said, it just shows the quality and the players Chelsea are producing this over the years, it's been amazing. 'I'm here, being called up to England, and it's going to keep carrying on hopefully.' While most of the England squad will be heading on holiday after the Senegal match, Chalobah and his Chelsea team-mates will be going to the US for the revamped Club World Cup. He said: 'This is the time after the internationals you probably want a holiday. But it's going to be physically tough, it's a different environment. 'But it's important, us as players want to be competing at the highest level and playing against very good teams. This is what footballers want to be doing, and hopefully getting a trophy.'

Chelsea told to sell three recent signings in summer transfer window
Chelsea have been urged to sell three of the players they bought last summer in an effort to arm Enzo Maresca with a squad capable of challenging on all fronts. After a challenging first campaign at the helm, Enzo Maresca masterminded Champions League qualification and a major trophy after thier Coference League triumph. Maresca, himself, accepts, however, that Chelsea still have a considerable distance to travel if they are to achieve some of the loftier aims and ambitions held by the club's ownership as well as the likes of star players Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez. In order to make room to add an extra dose of quality to his ranks, Maresca has been advised to part company with three players whose arrivals he only sanctioned little over 12 months ago by Chelsea's former Champions League winning midfielder John Obi Mikel. Maresca appeared to have made a shrewd acquisition in defence last year when Chelsea snapped up Tosin Adarabioyo from local rivals Fulham but the former Nigeria international believes it is already time for a parting of ways. For a free transfer, he was not a bad signing. But when I look at him I just think he is not…he's done reasonably well, but I just don't think at that Chelsea level. 'He's a good player, but not at the level to be a top Chelsea centre-back.' It is a similar story in the centre of the park for Mikel where Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who excelled for Maresca at Leicester in The Championship, found the step up in quality difficult to adjust to. 'He did well in the Championship with Leicester, but this is Chelsea Football Club,' said Mikel. 'He needs to go somewhere he can play and improve. Is he a good player? Yes. Is he a Chelsea player? Definitely not.' Up front, meanwhile, Joao Felix's second spell at the club turned out to be nothing short of an unmitigated disaster and was loaned to Milan in January. Mikel said: 'The reason why he came back to Chelsea, I have no idea. Spending £40-£50 million on bringing him back and letting him go on loan after a few months. I just don't understand it at all and how that happened. 'I'm sure Paul Winstanley and the rest of the guys have learnt from that, and not to make the same mistake again. He's been at the club twice now and not performed. It has to be sell.' More Trending The summer recruitment drive has already begun in earnest with Liam Delap's £30m arrival from Ipswich rubber stamped on Wednesday night with Chelsea having beaten Manchester United to the striker's signature. 'I understand the stature of this club and can see the trajectory it is on with these players and the head coach,' Delap told Chelsea's website. 'It's going to be an incredible place for me to develop, and I hope to achieve amazing things here and help the club win more trophies.' 'I wanted to come here to win trophies' - Have your say on Delap arrival
New Chelsea signing Liam Delap says the "hunger and desire" to "keep adding trophies" and taking the club "back to where it belongs" attracted him to make the move from Blues have completed the signing of Delap on a six-year deal after meeting a £30m release clause that was activated following Ipswich's relegation from the Premier League."Growing up watching this club, I understand the stature of it and how incredible it has been over the years," the 22-year-old told Chelsea's media team after the move was confirmed."I wanted to come here to win trophies. When I spoke to the club, everyone wanted to get back to the very top, and they have the quality and the players to do that. "The hunger and desire to keep adding trophies, to take the club back to where it belongs, that is the main objective."Delap also reflected on his football journey that has taken him from Derby County to Manchester City with loans at Stoke City, Preston North End and Hull City before last season at Ipswich."It's a lifetime of graft," he added. "Since I was eight or nine years old, I was focused on football. I never wanted to do anything else, and I've given everything I could to make it happen."It's such a long and hard period and things can be tough for you, but I've always enjoyed it. I just love football - I'd be playing with my mates if I wasn't a professional."Fortunately, I'm alright at it – and I'm delighted that graft has worked out and I'm here now at Chelsea."I had a few loans and I learned a lot from then. You are a mixture of all these different experiences, so I've taken little bits from everywhere I've been and then built it together as one. I'm always learning and developing."Chelsea fans, what do you make of the signing? How and where do you see him fitting in at Stamford Bridge?Let us know here.
