Sean ‘Diddy' Combs's ex-girlfriend says she felt obligated to participate in ‘freak-offs'
The federal sex-trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs entered its fifth week on Monday as a former girlfriend of Combs resumed her testimony, telling jurors that she repeatedly told the music mogul that she didn't want to have sex with other men.
The woman, testifying under the pseudonym 'Jane', dated Combs from 2021 until his arrest in September 2024.
Throughout her testimony, which is in its third day, Jane has alleged that during their relationship she felt obligated and pressured to participate in the drug-fueled sex parties with hired male escorts – known as 'hotel nights' or 'freak-offs' – that she said Combs would request, direct, watch and masturbate to, and would sometimes film.
Last week, Jane testified that their relationship began as loving and that she fell 'pretty head over heels' for Combs. But, she said a shift occurred in their relationship after Combs introduced his sexual fantasies involving other men and role-playing, and proposed the so-called 'hotel nights'.
Jane, who has been described by prosecutors as a single mother who first met Combs in 2020, testified that she agreed to her first 'hotel night' in May 2021, wanting to please Combs, and described it as opening 'a Pandora's box'.
'It set the tone for our relationship going forward,' she said, adding that 'it was a door that I was unable to shut'.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of sex-trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.
On the stand, Jane has said that throughout their relationship she repeatedly told the music mogul that she did not want to have sex with other men, but that he would dismiss and brush off her concerns.
Jane said that he began paying her rent in 2023, and testified that after this, she felt 'an obligation' to participate in the sexual encounters, fearing she would lose her home where she lived with her son if she refused. (Jane has testified that Combs is still paying her rent as well as her legal fees.)
Prosecutors presented a series of text messages between Jane and Combs, including some where Jane told Combs she no longer wanted to participate in the 'hotel nights'.
'It's dark, sleazy, and makes me feel disgusted with myself' Jane wrote to Combs in September 2023. 'I don't want to feel obligated to perform these nights with you in fear of losing the roof over my head.'
Jane testified that at times, when she expressed 'frustration' about the 'hotel nights', Combs would call her 'crazy', or promise her quality time, or bring up the home she lived in. She also alleged on Monday that once during an argument, Combs threatened to show sex tapes of her from the 'hotel nights' to her child's father.
Jane's account of the 'hotel nights' has, thus far, mirrored claims made by Combs's former girlfriend, singer Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura, who testified earlier in the trial, and described similar sexual encounters she said Combs called 'freak-offs'.
Jane told the court on Monday that when she read the civil lawsuit filed by Ventura against Combs in November 2023, she was shocked, adding that the allegations 'resembled' her own experiences.
'I almost fainted, in fact, I think I did,' Jane said.
A few days after the lawsuit was filed, Jane texted Combs, saying: 'I feel like I'm reading my own sexual trauma.'
Combs's lawyers have argued that the women who participated in the 'freak-offs' or 'hotel nights' did so consensually and that the encounters were part of a 'swingers lifestyle'.
Jane's testimony is still continuing as of Monday afternoon, and Combs's lawyers are expected to begin cross-examining Jane this week.
Separately, over the weekend, Combs's legal team filed a second mistrial motion, alleging prosecutorial misconduct and accusing the prosecutors of presenting 'materially false' testimony.
The motion centers around the testimony of Bryana Bongolan, a longtime friend of Ventura's, who testified last week that in September 2016 Combs dangled her from a 17th floor apartment balcony in Los Angeles, which she said resulted in injuries.
During the cross-examination, Combs's legal team presented hotel records showing that Combs was in New York at the time of the alleged incident.
'In this trial the government has presented testimony that it knew or should have known was materially false related to its allegation that Mr Combs dangled Bryana Bongolan from the balcony of Cassie Ventura's apartment in September 2016' Combs's lawyers wrote in the mistrial motion filed on Saturday. 'Accordingly, to avoid an unfair conviction in this case the Court should grant a mistrial.'
Judge Arun Subramanian gave the government until Tuesday to respond.

Adam 'Pacman' Jones pleads not guilty in officer assault case
June 12 - Former NFL defensive back Adam "Pacman" Jones pleaded not guilty to multiple charges on Wednesday following his weekend arrest, according to multiple reports. Accused of assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication in a public place, Jones was arrested in Kentucky on Saturday morning. Jones' lawyer addressed the charges Wednesday, accusing the police and media of embellishing the facts of the case. "The recent arrest of Adam 'Pacman' Jones in Covington, Kentucky, is yet another example of overzealous policing and the systemic issues that plague our justice system," attorney Pete Schaefer said. "Adam did nothing wrong other than exercise his right to ask why he was being detained. ... Initially, officers claimed he was being arrested for assault and then shifted to public intoxication, which, in itself, is not a crime in many jurisdictions unless it leads to dangerous behavior, and finally settled on disorderly conduct -- simply for asking why he was being detained. "This pattern of escalating and inconsistent charges is a clear abuse of authority and demonstrates a troubling trend of police officers prioritizing their own discretion over constitutional rights.'' Schaefer also suggested his client has received unfair treatment since his detention. "Adam, like every American, is innocent until proven guilty. Yet, once again, his past is being weaponized against him in the court of public opinion, while the officers involved face no scrutiny for their conduct. ... Adam deserves fairness, not another headline designed to paint him as a villain for clicks.'' Arrested several times since his playing days, Jones, 41, was most recently arrested for alleged public intoxication, assault of a police officer and evading arrest following the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight at AT&T Stadium on Nov. 15, 2024. Jones played 146 career games over 12 seasons with the Tennessee Titans (2005-06), Dallas Cowboys (2008), Cincinnati Bengals (2010-17) and Denver Broncos (2018). He was a First-Team All-Pro in 2014, a Pro Bowl selection in 2015 and a member of the NFL All-Rookie Team in 2005. The punt return specialist retired from the NFL in 2019. --Field Level Media

At the table, we enjoyed a menu of dishes, emotional speeches, and exchanged vows. Then we danced the entire night.' Brian Austin Green's fiancee reveals if they've met his ex Megan Fox's newborn baby
While opening up about their blended family, Brian Austin Green's fiancee Sharna Burgess revealed that they've met his ex-wife Megan Fox 's newborn baby. Fox, 39, welcomed a daughter with ex-boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, 35, in March of this year. The Transformers beauty also has three kids — Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, eight — with ex-husband Green, 51, who she split from in 2020 after 10 years of marriage. Sharna, 39 — who shares son Zane, three, with Brian — gushed to PEOPLE on Wednesday that Fox and MGK's baby girl is the 'absolute cutest thing.' She also revealed that Zane has 'fallen in love' with his three-month-old baby sister. 'Of course he's met her — that's his baby sister,' Burgess told People. 'They're deeply in love. She is the absolute cutest thing, and it's really beautiful.' 'We have such a big family,' Burgess continued. 'When I was a kid, and even when I was manifesting my life, I wanted a big family. 'And then I got to a point where I thought, 'Maybe I'll only get to have one baby because of age, ovaries, you know, all the things.' 'But somehow the universe still provided this unbelievably big family and tribe with amazing kids in it.' The former Dancing with the Stars pro gushed that her little one is growing up surrounded by love. 'He has such a big, beautiful tribe around him, and it's really cool,' the proud mom reflected. She added, 'We're all so very lucky. The kids are amazing and they've become built-in babysitters. The age gap actually works really well. We're thrilled.' Sharna also revealed that she and her husband-to-be are even considering expanding their brood with another child. 'We've talked about getting pregnant at some point next year,' she told the publication. 'I like the idea of an age gap of around four to five years between siblings, so hopefully we can make that happen.' Green previously had a vasectomy to relieve Burgess from the side effects of birth control. 'He was amazing,' she said. 'He knew that birth control made me feel crazy, so he said, "Let me handle it." He got a vasectomy, but we always knew we could do IVF or freeze sperm. 'It was never "no more babies." It was just about protecting my health. So yes, IVF is most likely the route we'll take.' Weeks ago Megan shared a video from Instagram fan account @ which showed her in a plaid mini skirt and cropped blue cardigan. The snippets were from her guest role in the Prime TV series Overcompensating. She spilled that she was pregnant in the scene, writing, '38 years old. six weeks pregnant (unplanned but a happy surprise).' 'Please stop listening to the patriarchy,' she urged her 21.5 million followers. 'Women are eternal light beings. We do not have an expiration date. Don't let them rob you of your power.' In addition to their newborn, MGK is also dad to 15-year-old daughter Casie. The birth of Megan and the rapper's daughter came months after the exes split for a final time. Their late 2024 breakup was reportedly due to Fox finding 'upsetting material' on the rock star's phone during a Colorado vacation.
