Bijan Robinson wants "Saquon-type of season when it comes to explosives"
Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has identified an area he'd like to improve in during the 2025 season.
Robinson ranked fourth in the league last season when it came to runs of 12 or more yards, but he was 17th when it came to runs of 20 or more yards. His career-long run is 39 yards and a 71-yard catch was the only longer gain of his first two seasons.
Robinson said he wants more runs in that category and that he's working every day in order to make more plays like the ones that carried Eagles running back Saquon Barkley to offensive player of the year status in 2024.
'We all want it. We're all waiting for that Saquon-type of season when it comes to explosives,' Robinson said, via the team's website. 'But I've been working on it a lot this offseason. And, obviously, when it gets to the season, it's time to go show it and go do the work the right way.'
Robinson said he's working every day to prepare himself for breaking big plays and that the Falcons have 'added so many things to this offense so we can create more explosives' during the coming season. Should those efforts pay off, Robinson may follow in Barkley's footsteps in more ways than one.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren JFK senior Nick Ryan will continue his academic and athletic career at Trine University. The Eagles basketball standout signed his letter of intent on Thursday. 'Once I went down to Trine, I was like, 'Oh my goodness, this place is unbelievable,'' Ryan said. 'From the facilities to the campus, everything about it was just unbelievable.' Ryan led Kennedy in points (26.5), rebounds (11.5), assists (2.5) and steals (2.7) last season, and was twice named to our WKBN Starting 5. The reigning Trumbull County Player of the Year helped lead the Eagles to 72 career wins and two District titles. He will graduate as the school's all-time leading scorer and rebounder with 1,928 career points and 890 rebounds. 'It was a very big goal of mine to be at the top of the list once I left JFK, so being able to do that was a big accomplishment,' Ryan said. 'I just want to leave a legacy behind. Like, not only was I a good basketball player but I was a good person as well.' Trine University is an NCAA Division III basketball program that competes in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux rips Eagles fans with incendiary comments that could backfire
The Giants are in no place to claim bragging rights over the Super Bowl champion Eagles, but that didn't stop Kayvon Thibodeaux from brutally roasting Philly fans on Kevin Hart's podcast. 'Is it true that Eagles fans are actually, like, not smart?' Thibodeaux asked Hart from an ice bath on a recent episode of the comedian's 'Cold As Balls' show. 'There are statistics that you guys are literally f—ing idiots.' Hart panned to the camera with an incredulous look as Thibodeaux kept going. 'Like, no bulls–t, I know you're one of them, so I get it. Like, 2.2 [GPA], I get it,' the star pass rusher told Hart, a Philadelphia native and diehard Eagles fan. The Giants, of course, finished last season 3-14 and went 0-2 against Philadelphia, which won its second overall Super Bowl with former Big Blue first-round pick Saquon Barkley starring in the backfield. In Thibodeaux's three years in New York, the Giants have a combined record of 18-32-1.
