
DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 Opens at Dubai World Trade Centre
DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 officially kicked off today at the Dubai World Trade Centre, cementing its role as the region's leading platform for the global flooring industry.
The three-day exhibition brings together 100 international exhibitors, underscoring Dubai's increasing influence as a hub for design, innovation, and commerce.
The event was inaugurated by Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director-General of the Dubai Land Department, who toured the halls and engaged with industry leaders. This marks the second year since the exhibition's regional relaunch, connecting key players from sectors such as real estate, hospitality, architecture, and retail.
Speaking at the launch, bin Ghalita highlighted Dubai's ability to attract major international events that drive economic growth and foster global collaboration. "DOMOTEX Middle East empowers industries and reinforces Dubai's position as a leading innovation hub,"
he said.
Exhibitors like Heritage Carpets, Abu Dhabi National Carpet Factory, and Tuftco are showcasing products that blend traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge design and technology. Amir Ghanbarinia, Managing Director of Heritage Carpets, emphasized the importance of sustainability in the industry, showcasing Persian handmade carpets and a rare early 20th-century piece.
Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director of DOMOTEX at Deutsche Messe AG, noted that the strong international participation reflects the Middle East's growing influence on the flooring industry's future. The event also serves as a networking hub, drawing architects, designers, contractors, and government stakeholders to explore new opportunities and innovations.
DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 continues until April 24, offering a glimpse into the future of flooring design and technology while reinforcing Dubai's leadership in global trade and creative industries.
