One martyred, others injured in Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon

Beirut – Saba:
A Lebanese citizen was martyred and others injured on Sunday as a result of an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon.
The National News Agency in Lebanon reported that an enemy drone targeted a motorcycle with two missiles on Shehabiyeh-Kfardounin highway. The agency later announced the death of one person and the injury of others as a result of this strike.
The agency reported that the southern outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab were subjected to a heavy machine gun search operation today, launched from the Israeli enemy position on Tallet al-Raheb.
The Israeli enemy continues to violate the ceasefire agreement through its attacks and violations in Lebanon, most notably the recent attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut on June 5.
The attack resulted in the complete destruction of nine buildings and the damage to numerous other buildings and commercial establishments.

The statement reiterated that the authority will not be complacent in following up on the implementation of approved laws and specifications to protect consumers, their safety, and the national economy.
