In 2021, just days after welcoming Vamika, Virat Kohli opened up about how life-changing the experience of fatherhood had been for him. During that time, India was also celebrating one of its biggest Test series wins in Australia, which Virat had to miss out on to be with Anushka.
When asked about his emotions, as reported by PTI, Virat said, "Firstly I don't think the two can be compared. Becoming a father has been and will remain the greatest moment in my life, in both our lives. That is something to be experienced to understand what I am saying."
For someone who has always been fiercely dedicated to his team, this was a big moment of personal priority. He also added, "Secondly, the connection to the team does not go away in any situation. Especially when you have given everything to the team."

Even in the most life-changing moment of his life, Virat couldn't completely stay away from the game. He revealed that when he was about to become a dad, he was still watching the match on his phone. "The last Test, I remember when Shardul and Sundar were having a partnership, I was watching it on my phone just before we had to go, when the doctor called us so. That is how connected you are to the team and how much you are looking forward to the guys doing well."
A second baby, a new beginning
In February 2024, Anushka and Virat became parents for the second time, welcoming their baby boy Akaay. The news brought joy to fans once again, as the couple managed to keep the pregnancy mostly private and enjoy the journey in peace.
Vamika's big sister moment
Recently, a sweet video of the family made its way to social media. In the clip, Anushka and Virat can be seen arriving at a house with their children, Vamika and little Akaay. The heartwarming moment showed Anushka's mother greeting them warmly with hugs and kisses. The 'PK' actress was seen holding baby Akaay in her arms, dressed in a white t-shirt and green trousers, while Vamika stood beside her. Dressed in a white frock, the little girl looked adorably playful as she gazed lovingly at her baby brother and mother. It was a picture-perfect family moment that melted hearts online.

Fatima Sana Shaikh clears the air: 'Anurag Basu does work with a script'

Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh is clearing some misconceptions about filmmaker Anurag Basu . The actress has reunited with Anurag for the second time for the upcoming film, 'Metro... In Dino' having collaborated with him earlier in 'Ludo'. The actress recently spoke with IANS, and shared her experience of working with him, and what goes on the sets of an Anurag Basu film as the day unfolds. She also clarified that Anurag does work with a script by his side. Speaking with IANS, Fatima said, "I love working with him. Actually, there is a misunderstanding. He's a very organised person. When you're on set, your entire day goes by in 5-6 hours. You never shoot overtime. He's so fast. He can easily shoot 4-5 big scenes in a day, which is very tough for people, especially in big films where the cast is also big". The actress further mentioned that Anurag is highly productive, and knows what he wants, as she said, "It takes a long time, but he's highly productive. He knows his shots. He doesn't waste time figuring out. He knows what he wants". Years ago, Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor had claimed in a podcast with comedy collective AIB that Anurag works sans scripts in his films, as he shared his experience of working with him in 'Barfi' and 'Jagga Jasoos'. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Why Didn't Anyone Tell You About This Power Saver? elecTrick - Save upto 80% on Power Bill Pre-Order Undo However, Fatima's account differs from what Ranbir experienced as an actor in 'Barfi' and as actor-producer in 'Jagga Jasoos'. When asked if Anurag comes fully-prepared, the actress told IANS, "I think he's more than fully-prepared. I think he's just too instinctive. Also because he comes early, he does the blocking, he performs on his own. People don't see that. For actors to come, and just fully surrender, learn the lines, and do everything that they're doing, at that moment, for that, everything else has to be perfect. It's never like the actors come, and there's lighting, or figuring out, or blocking. It's never like that. He's always 100% ready. And there's space to explore". "It's not possible that a director doesn't know what he wants to make or that there is no script. It's impossible because you cannot make a film like 'Barfi' or 'Jagga Jasoos'. It's highly technical in that way. To make that world, and to make it so realistic, if you do not have a clear vision, you cannot make that possible", she added. Presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series presents, in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd., 'Metro In Dino' is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar , Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu. The film is set to arrive in cinemas on July 4, 2025. Fatima Sana Shaikh poses with paparazzi

When Salman Khan broke silence on arriving late for shoots, said his timings are different: 'I start around 11:30–12 because…'

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan , often affectionately called Bhaijaan, has delivered numerous blockbuster films over his illustrious career. Some of his most popular hits include 'Maine Pyaar Kiya', 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun. .!', ' Bajrangi Bhaijaan ', 'Sultan', 'Kick', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', and 'Dabangg'. Known for his charismatic screen presence, Salman has also been the subject of various rumours about his professionalism, particularly concerning his punctuality on set. Salman on rumours of arriving late on film sets Earlier this year, Salman addressed these rumours in an interview with India Today Digital, where he clarified misconceptions about his work ethic and arrival times for shoots. He firmly stated, 'There are many stories about me coming late and not being serious about my work. I have done more than 100 films, more than anyone else apart from my senior actors. It wouldn't be possible to achieve this if I were constantly late or leaving early. ' Salman further explained that while he maintains strict discipline, his working hours differ from the norm. 'There is a discipline 100 per cent, but my timings are different. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo Some people start working at 6 am, I start around 11:30-12 because I've got a lot of other work to do, like signing a lot of papers, making calls, and working out. Then I have to come back, relax, have my coffee, and understand the scene.' He also mentioned how once he arrives on set, he remains fully engaged without distractions. No prayers for hits, Just honest work In the same candid interview, Salman opened up about his approach to the success of his films. He revealed that unlike many actors who fervently pray for their projects to succeed, he does not actively pray for a film's success. 'I was just thinking today, have I ever prayed for a film to become a success? I don't think that apart from 'Maine Pyaar Kiya', I have ever prayed for a film to be a hit. But, I know, my mother, sister and my loved ones must be doing that. ' He further emphasised that his focus is on delivering work that audiences enjoy rather than obsessing over box office results. 'The only thing that matters is that people should enjoy your work. I don't come in as saying that I'm one of the best actors in the country. I don't do that.' Salman Khan was last seen in the action drama 'Sikandar', directed by A.R. Murugadoss and featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal . Despite high expectations, the film underperformed at the box office. It was later released on OTT platforms on 25 May, giving fans another chance to watch it.
