2025 UFC Fight Night Odds: Khalil Rountree, Jamahal Hill Tied On Board
UFC Fight Night gets underway on Saturday, as the sport presents a fight card that includes 12 thrilling matches.
While bettors are diving into all the action for what will be an exciting day, all eyes will be on the headliner — former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr.
Hill comes into this fight after losing his last two in the Octagon by knockouts. His last two years have been riddled with misfortune and injuries. Rountree comes into the weekend after having lost his last fight to Alex Pereira. It was a fight to challenge for the UFC light heavyweight gold.

Ilia Topuria sees scenario in which he has shot to win titles in three UFC divisions
LAS VEGAS – It's possible Ilia Topuria's stay at lightweight will be short-lived – even if he wins the title next week. Topuria (16-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) meets Charles Oliveira (35-10 MMA, 23-10 UFC) for the vacant 155-pound title in the main event of UFC 317 next week at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Topuria earlier this year vacated the featherweight title so he could move to lightweight and a shot at title in a second division, even though he wasn't able to retain his 145-pound strap at the same time. Topuria reiterated Friday that he wanted a shot at former champ Islam Makhachev (27-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC), who vacated his lightweight belt and announced a move to welterweight. He's expected to challenge new 170-pound champ Jack Della Maddalena later this year. "To be honest, I wanted to face (Makhachev) because he was the guy who was dominating anyone and everyone (at lightweight)," Topuria said Friday at a media scrum ahead of an open workout in Las Vegas. "But at the end of the day, I can't control what they do. The only thing I can control is what I do. So I wanted to move up, I wanted to fight for the title of this division. That's what I'm doing. He decided to move up also. I can't do anything else but go and fight whoever wants to fight me." Except Topuria said there maybe is something else he could do, in theory, to get a fight with Makhachev. If Makhachev, longtime protege of Khabib Nurmagomedov, wins the welterweight title, and Topuria has the lightweight belt, he might go through this whole exercise again to fight at 170 pounds. The UFC never has had a fighter win titles in three different divisions. "We'll see how he does in the welterweight division, if he wins the title and I win the title in the lightweight division. Maybe I move up or he comes down to the lightweight division and we have the fight that everyone wants to see," Topuria said. "… If Islam becomes the world welterweight champion, for sure I'm going to push for that shot and I will move to the welterweight division."

Cal Raleigh Ties, Breaks Bench's Record For Catcher Homers Before All-Star Break
Mariners' catcher Cal Raleigh is having a truly great season. The switch-hitting slugger went deep twice against the Cubs on Friday at Wrigley Field, for home runs 28 and 29 of the 2025 season, allowing him to tie and then pass Hall of Famer Johnny Bench's record for homers by a catcher before the All-Star break. The first blast came in the top of the first inning, a solo shot with two outs to put the Mariners up 1-0. That tied Bench's mark, set in 1970 in what would be the first of two MVP-winning seasons for the Reds' star. It took Bench 87 games to go deep 28 times, but Raleigh managed the feat in his 73rd game of the season. And it took just a few innings more for Big Dumper to set a new benchmark with his 29th dinger of the year. That's not all, however. Raleigh came into Friday's game as MLB's home run leader at any position: having 29 puts him three up on Aaron Judge, four up on Shohei Ohtani, and six ahead of Kyle Schwarber. That he hit two also added to another chase, which is that of the most multi-homer games in a single season by a catcher. Per MLB's Sarah Langs , Raleigh now has six of them in 2025, tying him with Mike Piazza's 1995 with the Dodgers for the second-most all-time, behind only Javy Lopez's 2003 with the Braves, when he went yard multiple times per game on eight occasions. If Raleigh makes it to 30 homers, it will be the third 30-homer season of his career, which would be the fourth-most ever by any primary catcher, behind Mike Piazza (nine times), Bench (four times) and Roy Campanella (also four). Raleigh is 28 years old, and in his fourth full season in the majors — it's not difficult to imagine him, conservatively, ending up in second place on that list. Longevity is rarely the name of the game behind the plate, however, which is one reason why Piazza's career was as special as it was — he's the all-time leader in home runs as a catcher with 399, with 427 long balls in all. Prognosticating beyond the next few years with a catcher is tricky, at best. For now, however, Raleigh has already made history as a backstop, and has a few weeks' worth of games left to pad that total, too. The next mark in sight, beyond the multi-homer one? Pacers vs. Thunder odds: Best bets, predictions for NBA Finals Game 7
The Indiana Pacers won their 10th game as an underdog this postseason on Thursday night, beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-91 in Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals and covering as 5.5-point underdogs. The game stayed under the total for the fourth time this series. Indiana opened the series as a huge +550 underdog at BetMGM, while Oklahoma City was a massive -800 favorite. If the Pacers end up winning Game 7, it would be one of the biggest finals upsets in NBA history. Advertisement The Thunder opened as 8.5-point home favorites in Game 7, but the line has drifted back to -7.5. The total is the lowest in the series at 215.5. Yahoo Sports asked handicapper Jon Metler for his thoughts on Game 7 of the Finals and some best bets: Game 7: Indiana Pacers at Oklahoma City Thunder (-7.5, 215.5) Metler: "Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's assists prop opened at 5.5 with increased juice to the over. That's a really low total for SGA in general, but when you consider the spot, it really jumps off the page. The Thunder will want the ball in SGA's hands as much as possible in Game 7, and he'll likely play 40-plus minutes. Advertisement "SGA's assists prop has dropped throughout the series because he's had a few rough games in that department, but the final box scores don't fully reflect what's happening. Game 4 is a perfect example: He recorded zero assists, but had eight potential assists — they just didn't convert. In Game 6, he had only two assists, but again tallied eight potential assists. The low conversion rate, combined with reduced minutes due to a blowout, skewed the numbers. "These games have tanked his assists line in the market, but that's good for us — it's opened up a chance to attack the lower total and even take a shot at the alternate over of 6.5 (+132), which I believe should be trading closer to -115. There's solid value on this number, and the fact that his role players and shooters are back home should help, too. In the last home game (Game 5), they converted 10 assists for SGA." Best bet: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander over 6.5 assists (+132) Metler: "Just pause and think about this for a second: You're getting Tyrese Haliburton over 7.5 assists at +144. Imagine if I told you this price during the regular season. I know it's the Thunder defense, but 7.5 at +144? Come on. You were typically seeing 9.5 or even 10.5 for Haliburton's assists prop, with the over trading around -110 back then. Advertisement "Similar to the SGA prop, look at the spot — it's Game 7 of the NBA Finals, where his usage and minutes should be as high as possible. Yes, Haliburton is nursing a calf injury, but I thought he looked completely fine in Game 6. If anything, the injury is what's creating this value. "His totals dropped heading into Game 6 due to uncertainty around his minutes and the injury, and they didn't adjust much after Game 6 because he only played 23 minutes due to the blowout. If Haliburton plays 35 minutes in that game, he likely smashes all of his totals — and the numbers for Game 7 would look very different. "I believe this prop should be trading closer to -120 for Haliburton in Game 7, which is why I'm hitting the button on +144." Best bet: Tyrese Haliburton 8+ Assists (+144)
