German foreign minister criticises Israel, but says arms sales will continue
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has urged his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar at a press conference in Berlin on Thursday to allow more humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza.
Wadephul also criticised the Israeli government's announcement that it would approve 22 more illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank.
However, he said that Germany would continue to deliver weapons to Israel.
